    Not too shabby

Written by PM from Fort Lauderdale

I bought them, and it seems to work well, i like the material and I do not worry about it scratching my computer, but obviously, it's for the computer, no extra room for a charger, but I would recommend it.

    Nice Case, Bad Size

Written by JA from San Diego

    Jun 14, 2008

This is a very nicely made case, the materials that they used are very high quality but the case itself is a little too large for the macbook pro. It is about an inch too long and therefore the computer slides around when you cary it around. The regular macbook cases are much snugger, I'm not sure why they overlooked this.

Not as tightly fitting as you'd wish

Written by AB from Bailey Island

I used to have the 13 inch version of this case for my old macbook, and it fit great. I was disappointed when I put my macbook pro in this case, as it fits rather loosely. Either way, it still protects the macbook.

The zipper WILL NOT scratch if you use it right

    Written by AK from Boston

    Sep 2, 2009

im sorry to say but i have a feeling that all the people who claim that the zippers on their cases are scratching their macbooks are the people who just throw their macbook in the case and dont give it enough thought. its common sense, there are flaps that go over the computer to protect it from just that (the zippers). The only thing is sometimes they get stuck under the computer when you put it in so you need to fish them out. So next time you all complain like this try actually checking out your case before you besmirch a good product with your stupidity.

Good but TOO BIG for new Macbook Pro

    Written by GG from Selinsgrove

    Nov 24, 2008

I had one of these Neoprene cases for my Macbook Air and it fit like a glove. This case for the new Macbook Pro 15" is TOO BIG vertically (about 1- 1.5 inches) but horizontally it fits perfect. There needs to be an update to this product for the new Macbook Pros (available November 2008 and beyond).

Longevity of protection- watch out for the zippers

    Written by RB from Dublin

    Aug 16, 2009

Whilst I would concur with all the other reviews regarding overall protection, I am now in possession and in full use of the same notebook sleeve for the last 8 months (purchased with a new macbook early 09).

After about 3 months, I noticed that scratch marks appeared about 2 inches from the corner onto the outside of the screen casing- presuming I had accidentally caused the same. Then I noticed the same marks got worse over time- the anodized alumin(I)um finish becoming dull and dark to the same localized area

To my surprise, I realized the position of the marks matched the position of the zippers when the neoprene case is fully closed or zipped- metal on metal abrasion, etc. I own older macbooks and powerbooks, both of which have neoprene sleeves (by other manufacturers)- the design of which eliminated this possibility.

I thought this may have been a one off...but my partner's 15" macbook now bears the same scars.

At first, I was impressed with the design; overtime, I have become annoyed with this oversight. "Protective Sleeve". Oxymoron.

    Great Case!!

    Written by MR from Peoria

This case has worked wonderfully! It is thin and lightweight and it has great padding in it to protect the Macbook Pro. It has a beautiful faux fur lining on the inside to prevent scratching. I would certainly recommend this case to anyone with a Macbook Pro!

Too Big for new MBP (late 2008)

    Written by PB from Spokane

    Nov 6, 2008

I brought this case for my NEW MacBook Pro and it is too big! With this machine being thinner than the old MBP, there is too much material and it felt like the Mac would move around inside and not be protected!

So I took it back and got a refund!

I am now waiting for a NEW thinner version that fits as it should... like a glove :)

    hmmm

    Written by AN from Rockville

I dont know what some of these guys are doing with it, but I've used the case for 6 months now (got it at the same time as the mbp)... and the zippers have not made a single scratch on mine. And HELLO DROPPING THE MB OFF A DESK IS GOING TO LEAVE DAMAGE WHETHER OR NOT IT LANDS ON THE ZIPPER OF THE CASE. Not to mention this is a SOFT CASE... it's not meant to do anything but prevent minor scratches...lets not be stupid... thats like saying my paper body armor didnt stop a bullet... dah?

The only thing I can complain about is that they sell this as a case for the 15"mbp... but it has a significant amount of excess space. The mbp slides about .5" within the case. It can get annoying when you're carrying it around campus (or anywhere).

    Great for Backpacks!!

    Written by JC from Canton

    Aug 9, 2008

After I got my MacBook Pro for Christmas, I wanted something to take it to school in, and this was it! After 8 months of having it, it still looks awesome, and so does my MacBook! I also have a regular laptop briefcase thing, and with this over my laptop, in the laptop bag, is ultimate protection! This is also great if you just want to grab your laptop and throw it in the car really quick to take somewhere. (ex. starbucks) Fits my 15 inch Macbook pro very nicely and hasn't stretched at all! Wonderful product! I think i'll stick with Incase's products from now on!

    Poor Fit, but Good Protection

    Written by HG from Nepean

    Aug 9, 2008

This case does protect my MBP well (I have it in plum and there is a short white fur-like lining inside), but it is too tall for the 15" MBP. Length-wise it is perfect, but I don't think it was designed for the MBP, which is unfortunate. I personally think the manufacturer tried to make a standard 15" case, and just put references to the 15" MBP to sell in Apple stores.

I want my case to fit my laptop snugly, in both length and width, so it does not take up extra space. I am considering returning it, or buying a different one. If you think you will be picky if it does not fit perfectly, then I would recommend a trying to find a different case.

    Fits good, stylish, and protected!

    Written by YW from Mililani

I like how it has a jelly or diving wet suit like feel to it. I duno if it's waterproof or not though. The zipper doesn't seem to scratch or come into contact with the macbook pro. I chose black and I've received many complements about the case: "nice looking case", "hey that brand is good!", or "now days computer stuff are trying to be stylish huh?". This case is good to protect against scratches, dust, and very light bumps while your computer is in a backpack. I use it for college and I plan to take my computer with me in the sleeve, knowing that it has some protection. I know it won't protect against falls or hard knocks, but I'm the person who is always aware of my belongings. I take extra care when it comes to laptops or iphones as well. A little pricey for a sleeve but hey, it's Incase brand and supposedly they're quality made products that last with PROPER recommended way of handling. It may move slightly in the case but not so much where you would notice it on a daily basis. You notice the slight movement if you purposely do it. GREAT!!!

    Protection, Quality, and Style Combine.

    Written by YG from Brookline

    Jun 15, 2009

After a recent 15'' MacBook Pro purchase, I decided that such an investment should be protected. For months I had set my eyes upon this case. It truly provides a MacBook Pro with protection, both physical (drops, dents), and cosmetic (nothing gets scratched because of the faux-fur interior). The case is probably best used in a briefcase or backpack due to the thinness of the neoprene lining. The case looks great and feels great. It doesn't add much weight or size, comes in many colors, and is decently priced. The materials are also of high quality; especially the zippers.

The Bottom Line: A good buy for protection, a good price, great design, and quality features.

    A great, slim case

    Written by AR from Pomona

    Jun 7, 2009

A wonderful case that really protects the new love of my life, my aluminum-bodied 15" MBP.

The outside is tough enough that it won't allow anything to harm my computer, but soft and flexible enough to fit into my bag. The inside has a soft fuzzy-like-material that I know won't ever scratch my computer. The zipper handles have a rubberized material on them that allows you to grip them properly.

The one slightly less-than-perfect thing is the stitched-in "incase" logo fabric on the inside of the case. It's stitched over the fuzzy stuff that's on the inside and is slightly more abrasive than I'd like it to be.

    Highly recommended.

    Careful!!

    Written by OP from Woodbridge

    Jan 9, 2009

Great looking. It feels great inside. But be careful when you put it in. It's a bit tight. The zip could scratch it on the way in.

The sleeve seems a bit narrow in its widest direction for the Unibody 15" MacBook Pro - and while it does have zip protection for when the zipper is being used, when you put the computer in, care is required.

It is certainly not unusable but it is not care-free either!

    Exquisite!

    Written by OO from Lakewood

    Sep 24, 2009

Complete as advertised! My 15'' MacBook Pro fits snuggly - not too loose nor too tight. The inside is very soft which prevents scratches on the body of my prized possession. More importantly, this product provides me with the peace-of-mind I was looking for when I travel with my MBP. It offers great protection and it is made of the finest material.

I can see how people complain about the zipper scratching their computer, but if you're careful enough when inserting or drawing out your MBP, you should avoid any crisis. Once the laptop is inside the sleeve, there's padding between the zipper and the computer, preventing any damage. Again, magnificent design!

    Too large

Written by RM from Palm Bay

    Jan 11, 2009

I have an Incase for my white MacBook and they fit really well. I got a new MacBook Pro 15" went to the apple store to get another incase. Very disappointing since they are too large for the new machines. I'm returning mine tomorrow. Thus far I don't know what else to buy by until they make this a better fit I'll get from another brand.

It fits my new (current generation) 15'' MacBook Pro perfectly without any loose space. It's stylish. It provides great protection. And last but not least, the sleeve smells heavenly while it's still brand new (or, at least in my opinion).
