Best sleeve case couldn't have came in a better color!

I am sooo thrilled that it finally came in the color Ive been looking for. I liked the design and the item itself, but I wanted to be in the color that best represented me. So I was ecstatic that they finally made in purple. The item hugs my MBP so nicely the way I want it, fits snug enough not for it to shuffle around, and everyone was complaining about the zipper problem but I found it to be not an issue since they had a layer of fabric that protects the zipper from the laptop while zipping it up. Perfect for putting in a backpack and traveling all around. Overall Im very happy.

I purchased this sleeve about two months ago and am very happy with it. If you travel with your MB or MBP a lot, I would highly recommend one of these. They protect it very well from any kind of scratch and fit it very snug so there will be no sliding inside the sleeve. This is also good to use to put your Mac in and then put the sleeve with the Mac in it into a backpack or carrying case and you don't have to worry at all about scratches. Will protect from anything other than a fall. It is also quality material. Not weak fabric.

This a must have for anyone that uses their macbook pro all over the place. this sleeve does not have a down side, no trade offs, nothing wrong with it. If you don't buy this then you have to be crazy. the inside is just beautiful, faux fur is perfect for not scratching the finish. its just perfect. must have.

These are nice cases, but beware of the silica packets. I didn't know one was hidden in the sleeve. It opened up and the little beads messed up my laptop big time. It would have cost me almost $800 to fix a two month old Macbook Pro. Luckily I had a warranty.

Complete as advertised! My 15'' MacBook Pro fits snuggly - not too loose nor too tight. The inside is very soft which prevents scratches on the body of my prized possession. More importantly, this product provides me with the peace-of-mind I was looking for when I travel with my MBP. It offers great protection and it is made of the finest material.

I can see how people complain about the zipper scratching their computer, but if you're careful enough when inserting or drawing out your MBP, you should avoid any crisis. Once the laptop is inside the sleeve, there's padding between the zipper and the computer, preventing any damage. Again, magnificent design!

the design of the sleeve is great, with its soft interior and cushioned support. however, when they say it fits "snuggly", they literally mean that all the space inside will be filled by your macbook down to the last sliver of room. This is NOT desirable considering you bough the sleeve to prevent scratches only to have the zipper scratch up your macbook's perfect aluminum unibody.... I am terribly disappointed that InCase did not design a better buffer between the zipper and computer.

ADVICE: Look around for something that protects your mac better instead of going for what's easily found/popular. Spending a little extra will benefit you and your macbook in the long run!

im sorry to say but i have a feeling that all the people who claim that the zippers on their cases are scratching their macbooks are the people who just throw their macbook in the case and dont give it enough thought. its common sense, there are flaps that go over the computer to protect it from just that (the zippers). The only thing is sometimes they get stuck under the computer when you put it in so you need to fish them out. So next time you all complain like this try actually checking out your case before you besmirch a good product with your stupidity.

Great case with great material but sometimes when i put my macbook in the case the zippers slide right along the sides of it. Other than the zippers its a good case and the only one so far that i have found that doesn't look stupid.

Whilst I would concur with all the other reviews regarding overall protection, I am now in possession and in full use of the same notebook sleeve for the last 8 months (purchased with a new macbook early 09).

After about 3 months, I noticed that scratch marks appeared about 2 inches from the corner onto the outside of the screen casing- presuming I had accidentally caused the same. Then I noticed the same marks got worse over time- the anodized alumin(I)um finish becoming dull and dark to the same localized area

To my surprise, I realized the position of the marks matched the position of the zippers when the neoprene case is fully closed or zipped- metal on metal abrasion, etc. I own older macbooks and powerbooks, both of which have neoprene sleeves (by other manufacturers)- the design of which eliminated this possibility.

I thought this may have been a one off...but my partner's 15" macbook now bears the same scars.

At first, I was impressed with the design; overtime, I have become annoyed with this oversight. "Protective Sleeve". Oxymoron.

This case is made of very high quality materials. The outside neoprene feels great (don't know if it's waterproof), and the inside fur doesn't scratch your laptop at all. My MacBook Pro fits nicely in the case and doesn't come into contact with the zipper, but tends to stretch after use. It seems to protect your laptop when being carried around in a backpack or bag. Overall, I'd recommend this case to anyone.

I ordered this sleeve for my sisters 15.4" HP laptop and it fits really well...it looks like it would protect your laptop if you had it in any bag, it would probably protect it from bumping around.

I like how it has a jelly or diving wet suit like feel to it. I duno if it's waterproof or not though. The zipper doesn't seem to scratch or come into contact with the macbook pro. I chose black and I've received many complements about the case: "nice looking case", "hey that brand is good!", or "now days computer stuff are trying to be stylish huh?". This case is good to protect against scratches, dust, and very light bumps while your computer is in a backpack. I use it for college and I plan to take my computer with me in the sleeve, knowing that it has some protection. I know it won't protect against falls or hard knocks, but I'm the person who is always aware of my belongings. I take extra care when it comes to laptops or iphones as well. A little pricey for a sleeve but hey, it's Incase brand and supposedly they're quality made products that last with PROPER recommended way of handling. It may move slightly in the case but not so much where you would notice it on a daily basis. You notice the slight movement if you purposely do it. GREAT!!!

To AD who said this product was "Horrible!!!!" this case is not meant to be dropped from a foot, its a wonderful case, but its product description is "Its durable neoprene exterior safeguards against scratches and minor knocks, while the plush interior keeps your MacBook Pro secure."

So AD you ask if incase ever tests their products? Well do you ever read the product description? This is a wonderful case for any macbook, and I strongly suggest every owner buy one!!!

I had this product for a while, but it had not been tested until today. I had my laptop on the coffee table within its sleeve ( zipped) and it was knocked over. It fell one ft, that's it and now my laptop has a dimple. Incase, do you test your products? Or are they just for looks!

It fits my new (current generation) 15'' MacBook Pro perfectly without any loose space. It's stylish. It provides great protection. And last but not least, the sleeve smells heavenly while it's still brand new (or, at least in my opinion).

Protection, Quality, and Style Combine.

After a recent 15'' MacBook Pro purchase, I decided that such an investment should be protected. For months I had set my eyes upon this case. It truly provides a MacBook Pro with protection, both physical (drops, dents), and cosmetic (nothing gets scratched because of the faux-fur interior). The case is probably best used in a briefcase or backpack due to the thinness of the neoprene lining. The case looks great and feels great. It doesn't add much weight or size, comes in many colors, and is decently priced. The materials are also of high quality; especially the zippers.

The Bottom Line: A good buy for protection, a good price, great design, and quality features.
