I wanted to love this

I so wanted to love this product but it just didn't live up. I took it on a trip for Thanksgiving and quickly became frustrated with it. I plugged in my husbands and my iphones into the two usb ports and the phones started power cycling! The "protected" light also stopped working, which makes me nervous. I am returning it. It's just not worth it.

Doesn't work with two iPhones

I purchased this from my local Apple retail store so I didn't have to pack two iPhone chargers when travelling. It works fine to charge one phone at a time, but when two iPhones are plugged in at once, they both just repeatedly make the "plugged in and charging" sound. I assume that together they just draw too much power.
I own Belkin's previous travel surge protector (without USB charging) and really like that the electrical plug folded flush into the device. This plug is different: it's fixed in place I'd prefer to have one less electrical plug to make the unit smaller, enough power to charge two iPhones at once, and foldable power plug.45 of 63 people found this useful
