Great Game!

This has been one of my favorite purchases since switching to the Mac a couple of years ago. The game plays smooth, no crashing or other issues, and it's very fun. It was a bit short for me as I beat in in a matter of 2 days but that's where multiplayer online action comes in. Nothing better than hopping on a server to frag some other poor souls on the other end. LOL!

A must buy!

One of the best games ive played. Plays smoothly on my macbook 2.0ghz. Ok, it did crash twice on multiplayer, but thats very little. Both singleplayer & multiplayer are fun. Recommending it to everyone!!!

the game is very playable, the levels are cool, the graphics are awesome, and it runs great on my macbook aluminum 2.0g.

also, they have those intel pieces which you need to find, after finding all 30, you can do the ultimate ammo cheat.

This is a super game with good graphics for people that like first-person shooters.
i wish there will come call of duty 5 on the mac, and 6 when that game is out.

This has got to be one of the best games ever. The graphics are just unbelievable and the game-play is a huge improvement of Call of Duty 3. The story is just awesome and it really brings you into the game. You have to play it to know how awesome it is. Best game ever.

This is a great game! Even though its campaign is quite short, the multiplayer is endless. Technically it's very good and graphically is very similar to its xbox and ps3 counterparts.

This game is awesome, If you are a gamer and love war games well this is the game for you. The storyline is good but kinda short. The multiplayer is awesome when you play online. The only con is playing with the keyboard kinda hard to find the write button to hit but you do get used to it after playing it for a while. If you are looking for a great game on your mac this game is the game you should get!!

The game is awesome but it needed more action

Pros:
*Great Graphics
*Great Sound
*Sorta-Great Gameplay

Cons:
Short Storyline: I don't play online. I got the game on a Saturday, and I finished it on Sunday Morning

But besides the short storyline, the game is pure awesomeness.

Had doubts about buying this game, especially after reading about some of the graphics issues and freezing. Well, I bit the bullet and bought it eventually, and all I can say is its awesome !! I do agree that the easy setting means if you're a normal sort of person, you'll finish it in not very many hours, but it's still awesome going through it again on the harder settings. Had no problems with running it on my newish Macbook Pro with the game running well on the 9400 card, but was so much smoother on the 9600 card. Well done Aspyr, totally recommended

Put simply, Call Of Duty 4 is the best game on the Apple platform. An incredible FPS. Works flawlessly on my MacBook Pro. I travel for work so if the ping is decent in my hotel, I battle with the guys in my clan even on the road! I purchased in Nov. 08 and have been totally sucked in by the multi-player world, to the annoyance of my wife and kids. Wait? I have a wife and kids? XD

By the way after installing, don't forget the free 1.7 upgrade on the Aspyr website. Most multiplayer servers stopped running the 1.6 version and now run 1.7, its a very simple patch, so upgrade and you will have plenty of battling ahead!

This game is absolutely amazing nothing is stripped from the console and pc versions to be ported to the mac. I thank Aspyr of all the hard work they put into making this game possible. Game has great story, gameplay, graphic and multiplayer. The game has only crashed twice since I bought it at release 5 months ago. This game is great I strongly recommend it if you like first person shooters

Basically, you can't go wrong with this game. Great single player, and even better multiplayer. It's really addictive and is better on mac than it is on Xbox. It is dope.

I'm not a gamer (or at least don't want to admit to being one), and I'm way too old to be playing these games... but I tried DOC4 anyway.

I am completely blown away by how much fun I had playing this game. I found myself getting completely immersed in the action, and didn't notice the hours flying by...

Tad bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion.
