Perfect, except for the Firewire thing.

I almost bought one in December after testing it with a Macbook Pro. It worked great with an earlier Mackbook Pro and Mackbook. But I just got a new Macbook Pro in the same month and without warning about the model change the firewire on the new MBP no longer supplies enough power to drive lots of firewire devices.
Plus I'm going to have to switch to a new Macbook and that doesn't even have firewire. Argh! That's not much of Apogee's fault, but unfortunately I'm waiting for them to release a USB version or Apple to release a small Mackbook with Firewire.43 of 68 people found this useful
