  • Belkin Headphone Adapter for iPhone

    Works fine but ,then...

    Written by SB from Raleigh

At first it works fine but, then you have to move it around and push it at an angle for it to work. You here static then you hear nothing, I would not suggest buying this product. Also hard to use in some cases.

    Doesn't work well

This adapter only works in certain angles. If you bump or move it, the adapter cuts out. Its not worth the hassle of twisting it every minute to get it to work.

    DO NOT BUY This!!!

    Written by AA from brentwood

do not buy this. If your are planning to use this adapter for jogging purposes, then don't get it. If u accidently bump into something with this in your pocket it will mess up everything. even thought it looks short, it's not short enough. Through allot of usage eventually there was crackling and i had to hold the iphone and push the adapter to the side the whole time. Still NOT a good adapter, if your gonna make something as inventive as the iphone you need to think about everything before introducing it to the world, because so far other than the iphone itself every accessory has been extremely poorly thought through and it's a waste of my time and money.

    Speaker not working

    Written by UA from Burbank

    May 26, 2008

I had a problem recently, the headphones were not plugged in, but the phone thought they were still plugged in so the speaker didn't work. The solution per an Apple tech is to plug in and out the head phone jack several times, like 4-5 times and your phone should work fine after that, mine did.

    Good luck.

    Useful but clumsy

    Written by MW from PORTLAND

This accessory works as advertised and I've had no problems with it. It is a bit clumsy though to watch a movie and have this stick out so far. I have the Bose QC-2 over the ear head phones so I bought this. However, a Bose kiosk in the Minneapolis airport showed me the trick to get your Bose headphones to work, carefully take a box knife razor and cut (carefully) the black o-ring on the headphone plug. It's not functional, so when you remove it your headphones work fine still and will now fit in the iPhone without any adapters.

    Frustrating and stupid.

    Written by KO from Providence

What's the point of listening to music on your iphone if the noise keeps going on and off? This adapter seemed to work fine at first, but now it's rare if I can listen to an entire song without one of the outputs suddenly being cut (bass, left side, right side, etc.). Spend the extra money and get something that actually works.

looks sturdy but looks can be deceptive

I use in-ear buds most of the time and needed something for my Bose QC3's when I fly. I keep this thing in the case with the headphones and after a few trips i started having to push the body at a certain angle to get it to work properly.

So for me- it does the job but didnt last too long

Perfect iPhone accessory for music lovers!

    Written by RW from Irving

I bought this because I missed my Bose headphones.

This thing works great and it's cheap too. It's a little bulky but I think it's worth it.

You can even use your headphones as the speaker for you calls. Just talk into the bottom of the iPhone to talk to the people on the other end.

Buy it if you don't like the provided headphones! Trust me, it's worth it!
