Goes to sleep in less than 5 seconds, and jerks heavily when waking up.
Written by JR from Westerville
Jun 26, 2008
The mouse goes to sleep after 3-5 seconds of inactivity. Moving the mouse again causes it to 'jolt' ahead to try and catch up. Makes doing work in photoshop or other applications impossible. Nice fit and finish, but a mouse with a 1200dpi sensor should not be going to sleep so fast. Really makes the mouse difficult, at best, to use. other BT mice do not suffer this same issue... the Microsoft (ack!) BT 5000 mouse tracks perfectly and does not sleep and then jolt back to life upon movement. Neither does the Radtech BT600. Support calls to Razer, support emails to Razer, and support tickets via Razer's website have yielded NO return information. This company does not support the junk they sell.

Razer mouse not so sharp
Written by ER from Antioch
Oct 23, 2009
This was my first bluetooth mouse and didn't know what to expect. Every time I start up my Mac I need to pair this mouse again. I use the scroll a ton for work and the scroll wheel just can't take it. When scrolling the screen skips all over up and down. Goes through batteries really quick. If I type for a while the mouse will lose connection. Just heard about the new Magic mouse and getting ready to pitch the Razer. Hope the magic Mouse is magical.

Very inaccurate. Can't believe it's made by a gaming mouse company.
Written by MS from Fullerton

I just bought two of these from the Apple Store about 30 minutes ago. I got home, paired it to my MacBook Pro and became immediately frustrated with how inaccurate this mouse is. It frequently jumps across the screen and makes it incredibly difficult to click on something specific. I had it jumping all around the tab in Firefox that I was trying to click.
I would highly recommend NOT getting these mice for any reason. Get the Logitech instead, which are also Bluetooth and are laser-based instead of optical. Optical mice are so outdated and incredibly inaccurate. Save yourself the time and frustration and buy something else. Do not buy these mice.7 of 12 people found this useful

More Scrolling Problems, Stick w/ logitech
Written by FF from Tampa
Nov 4, 2008
I'm on my computer for about 8 hours a day clicking and typing away, and I need a good mouse. The mighty mouse doesn't work after a few months, because the scroll ball looses funtionality (either up or down) and this one (Razor pro click) doesn't scroll nicely, its very jumpy, get the logitech mouse. I'm exchanging this one for the logitech (small white bluetooth one) mouse today.

I bought two of these, black for me and pink for someone else. The pink one loses connection and mine is really choppy. I'm returning both of them. All looks, no function.

Doesn't play nice with Leopard

Purchased based on previous experience with Razer Pro, which I love. However, the mobile version suffers from HORRIBLE bluetooth performance under 10.5, extremely jittery. No software or support from Razer. Very disappointed.

Good ergonomics. Poor connection.
Written by AA from Lindon
Mar 27, 2009
I went through two of these and ended up returning both of them. I loved the ergonomics and the weight, and the scroll wheel wasn't too bad either, for not being a scroll ball like the mighty mouse. But to bluetooth connection would stagger frequently, making it impossible to feel like I could rely on it for precise response. I thought it might just be a defect so I returned the first one, only to get the exact same spotty connection.
If they can fix this issue I'd buy it again.5 of 5 people found this useful

Sporadic behavior
Written by NM from Austin
Oct 20, 2008
Functionally I really like this mouse (two buttons, nice scroll wheel, very ergonomic design). The big problem I'm having is that the mouse cursor sensitivity degrades very close to the MacBookPro bluetooth source. It works fine within 12 inches or so, but the cursor control becomes "herky-jerky" at 24 inches, and forget about anything further away. The MacBookPro is set up just left of a 23" cinema display and I'm trying to use the mouse to the right of the keyboard. The mouse is only ~2.5 feet from the furthest corner of the MacBookPro. I don't really know if this is a limitation of the mouse or bluetooth, or MacBookPro's bluetooth - my two star rating reflects my overall experience trying to get the mouse to function. The batteries are new and the optical sensor is completely clean. The mouse is probably fine for use next to your laptop, but buyer beware if you plan to use this as your main mouse. I'm switching to a USB corded mouse : (

Does everything you need it to do
Written by KV from El Sobrante

This is a nice bluetooth mouse. I got it to use with my macbook pro and i love it. It's stylish and connects with bluetooth without any problems. It's easy to connect and disconnect. Also comes with a case which is nice when traveling. One thing that i did notice however is that when you're moving the mouse it's kinda loud. I guess it's the bluetooth or whatever. But this is only noticeable if the room you're in is dead quiet. It's just a very soft buzz and only happens when its moved. And the other thing is that it's rather expensive at $60. But the main reason to get the bluetooth mouse is so you can use your USB ports for more important stuff. This mouse gets the job done.

Good Overall
Written by BS from Cambridge

I am overall happy with my purchase of this mouse. As mentioned it does have a slight lag in connecting after its gone to sleep, but I don't find it too annoying all you have to do is left click and it seems to connect rather instantly. It's comfortable while using it, and works well for Gaming. It does not seem to interfere with my wireless internet connection.

Try it, you will like it

This is an excellent mouse and works perfectly with my PB. It paired painlessly and consistently reestablishes the connection after sleep, shutdown etc. The mouse is smallish and fits best under the fingers rather than the palm but I prefer a small mouse. The top feels textured but the sides are hard plastic. It came in a nice box without laceration inducing hard plastic packaging. It even includes a little sleeping bag to carry the mouse on trips. But far and away the best feature is the excellent tracking, much better than my Kensington slimblade trackball mouse. I don't know if that is due to the supposed higher resolution tracking but the effect is tangible. It feels like a wired mouse to me. I needed no software to get the two buttons and scroll wheel to work (with Tiger) but I couldn't get the scroll wheel button to activate until I loaded USBOverdrive (I set it to Expose). I can't comment on battery life but I did quickly turn off the feature that powers an LED under the Razer logo (no free ads on my batteries). One star less than five is because I find it somewhat cumbersome to have to pick the mouse up to get at the on/off button on the bottom. I much prefer the Kensington method of holding down one of the mouse buttons to turn it on/off. I recommend this mouse.

WOW! I got this mouse yesterday and I can't put it down. I think I will dump my Mighty Mouse and get another one of these for my desktop. It tracks perfectly, is very comfortable, and the buttons work really well. A nice feature is that it comes with a carrying bag which will help keep it safe in transit. I HIGHLY recommend this mouse!

My last Razer mouse was the original Boomslang on the PC, and after moving to Mac, this mouse is perfect for daily use (web design, coding, office apps). Had it for months on the original packaged batteries (I turn off the mouse every evening before going home). Highly recommended.

Awesome Mouse
Written by HG from Grand Junction

I bought this exactly a year and 2 months ago and it's still kicking, I love it, very portable and the fact that it connects completely wireless to my macbook and I have more free USB ports for other peripherals makes this the best mouse I've ever owned. This past Christmas I bought a white macbook for my wife and got her the pink one and she is happy beyond happiness measure. Definitely worth every penny and to be honest, the price is just perfect as this is a very inexpensive mouse. Would definitely recommend to anyone, try it, you'll be in for a treat!

Great Mouse
Written by JC from San Diego
Nov 28, 2008
Pros: Bluetooth, comfortable, comes with travel baggy, $10 cheaper than Logitech equivalent.
Cons: None, really...
I recently bought this to use with my Macbook Pro works great. I was going to get the Logitech VX Nano, but they didn't have it in stock, so I got this. It's very comfortable to use and, so far, I have had no problems with it. The bluetooth feature is very convenient over having a wireless USB connection.
The only issue I've had, which I wouldn't really call a problem as much as an annoyance, is that if you take the mouse too far from the computer while it's connected, it loses connection and you have to re-sync it... but how often do you use the mouse 6+ ft away from your laptop, right?
It comes with its own little travel bag, which is nifty, and is very accurate (I use it for Adobe products and gaming). Definitely a great buy AND it's $10 cheaper than the Logitech VX :)4 of 6 people found this useful
