Good little mouse
Written by SJ from timmins

Bought this mouse for my macbook pro a few months ago because of the poor rating recieved for the mighty mouse. Not much to say about it, its a standard mouse that works flawlessly, it connects without effort, good battery life, just an overall solid mouse.

Great Mouse When It Connects Correctly
Written by JD from Columbus
Oct 22, 2009
This is mouse is the best cordless mouse I've had overall. The cordless and adapterless feature makes it quite ideal in all situations. It fits well in my hand and has a great feel to it. The only stipulation I have with it is that about 15% of the time I go to connect my mouse, something happens with the connectivity and my MacPro completely freezes requiring me to reboot unconventionally. This gets quite annoying when I have a good amount of work open (which I usually do) and lose it all because I have to suddenly reboot my computer.
Overall a great mouse but the connectivity issues I've had has made this a bittersweet love for this product.2 of 4 people found this useful

Was great until Snow Leopard :(
Written by JA from Marionville

I've had this mouse since I bought my white Macbook two years ago. I've never had a problem with it not connecting until I installed Snow Leopard. Now it drops all the time.
The mouse itself fits perfectly in my hand, long life depending on batteries used, and buttons/scroll wheel very nicely done. Tracking is also good for general use and games.
As for the problems now, I can't explain why it has decided to do this. Anyway, it gives me an excuse to buy the new Magic mouse. :)
I gave the mouse 5 stars for being great until Snow Leopard.4 of 6 people found this useful

Poor Connectivity

I agree with most reviewers concerning the connectivity issues. Out of the box this product worked fine. On the third day is when I began experiencing problems. When the MacBook goes into sleep mode Minny Mouse has problems reconnecting. I am not going to alter my power settings or waste battery life for the sake of one USB port. I'm going back to USB.

A vast improvement on the Mighty Mouse
Written by GR from NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE

I've had my Mighty Mouse replaced FOUR TIMES under AppleCare due to the woefully-designed scroll wheel getting gunked up and failing. So I finally admitted defeat and put my hand in my pocket for one of these. What a joy to have a scroll wheel that actually WORKS. As others have noted, forget the Logitech software - the V470 pairs with Bluetooth Macs right out of the box, with scrolling and both buttons supported natively in OSX. Highly recommended, and not just for notebooks - it's large enough, and its ergonomics sound enough, to be used all day with your desktop. I'm using mine with my iMac, and I'll my last Mighty Mouse is permanently consigned to the trash.

This mouse is unusable for any detail work

Granted it connected no problem but it is completely useless as the accuracy of how it tracks is so poor and VERY frustrating. I bought this on a trip to the US so can not return it so I will be dumping it. What a waste of 50 bucks !!!!

Mouse OK without Logitech software
Written by JS from Mount morris

This mouse is OK without the Logitech Control Center installed. Otherwise with their software I had frequent problems when rebooting computer. The mouse connection was always lost. Sometimes I had to connect a USB mouse just to reestablish the connection. Unfortunately without the Control center the mouse tracking is a bit erratic
and you loose the horizontal scroll function although I learned holding shift key allows wheel to horizontal scroll so it was no big deal. This mouse is a little too small for my liking but its better then the Mighty Mouse which just is too ergonomically incorrect for me. All in all I am not that impressed with Bluetooth for a mouse connection but it will do.10 of 14 people found this useful

Can be jumpy when idle
Written by MM from Kirkland
Jul 24, 2009
I have had this mouse for almost a year now. The batteries have been fine, nothing out of the ordinary. I think mine have lasted about 4-6 months with normal use.
This mouse if not for you if you intend to use it for intricate use. I use for advanced editing on iMovie and it's not responsive enough for accurate use. There's a delay in response with normal use and then when it's idle and you move the mouse slightly, it jumps around the screen (as other users have commented).
I have had no connections issues at all. Scrolling works just fine and it's a great mouse if you want to use this mouse for general use but not at an "accurate" level.
Build quality is great and it feels solid. It might be too small for you if you have large hands. It is a notebook mouse after all.11 of 13 people found this useful

Poor Connectivity- 1 Month Later Stop Working
Written by LR from Chicago
Jul 22, 2009
I purchased this mouse because of the previous mostly positive reviews for use with my MPB 17", one word "useless", the mouse lost connectivity even when it was a inch away from the laptop, and then it would connect, disconnect, and so on. Eventually about a month later, it simply stop working. The light indicated that it works with the battery installed, but no connection to a Mac or PC whatsoever, waste of money!
