Wouldn't own an iPod touch without it
Written by MC from Los Angeles

Not only can you see the screen clearer, but it actually is easier to scroll given the added resistance; plus it protects the glass like you wouldn't believe. Frankly, I can't see myself ever owning an iPod touch without this stuff.

Miracle, Saved My Ipod After A Car Ran Over It
Written by MC from Los Angeles
Nov 28, 2008
This product saved my ipod touch!! I came home to find my ipod lying face down in the middle of the street and instantly thought the glass would be shattered but the rocks on the floor couldn't break through the film when the car ran over it. I am not sure if the cushiony case i have on it could have also helped but all i know is that my ipod is unscratched and in perfect working condition. This product is absolutely amazing, i even have a second one, since the product came with two, to replace it with!!

when I first applied the film there was one tiny bubble but as if by magic ,probably 24hrs later it had virtually disappeared and could not be happier
with the final result. I.m a ¨baby boomer¨ and just
love this technology as well as my ipod touch. The product and the people involved in creating it need to be given a pat on the back. Well done.10 of 12 people found this useful

Best Product
Written by DA from Briarcliff Manor
Nov 16, 2008
After some mixed reviews about this product I was somewhat skeptial, but I decided to buy it when I bought my Ipod and case back in May. Although it took a couple of trys to get the screen on perfectly, without air bubbles, dust, and not crooked it is now fine. The directions were easy to use and I recommend if you make a mistake to use tape to take the screen off. I have never once taken off the film and it is AMAZING and by FAR THE BEST. It avoids scratches and is easier to touch. My opinion is once its on do not take it off becuase my Ipod looks as good as it did the day I bought it. I would recommend this product to any Ipod touch user as it is by far the best screen cover out there!!!

Amazing Screen Protector!
Written by WK from Ware
Oct 30, 2008
This is exactly what I was looking for. I've seen other people with it and I've been wanting it for a while. It doesn't exactly fit the glass on the 2nd gen iPod Touch but its off by only a few millimeters. I kept my case on during application and it caused no problems. Use a credit card to smooth it down and you're guaranteed to not get bubbles. Its kind of fuzzy but doesn't really take away from the screen quality. It doesn't affect the touch screen sensitivity and it makes it a lot easier to do motions with your fingers and they don't leave prints. If you want perfect screen quality this isn't for you though.

THE BEST FLIM EVER!!!!!
Written by BC from Upland
Oct 26, 2008
WoW this has go to be the best film i have ever used! If your looking for a film that will do the job, does not leave air bubbles or finger prints this is the film for you. I love the anti-glare feature giving it the sharp look and expensive gleam. I was afraid of putting the film on at first, due to all of the annoying air bubbles i thought i would get but, once i got the tip on i let go and so smoothly it went on and only air bubbles on the sides and was so easy to get ride of! It does not leave any finger prints whenever you touch it! It does not affect the touch screen in anyway and the color is even better too! I highly recommend it for anyone!!

Works Great
Written by MS from Falls Church

Picked this up at an Apple Store after an incredible amount of smudges on my iPod Touch screen. I have had palm's and a treo that all needed a screen protection. while the films worked they were a pain too put on and left bubbles for almost ever. this, if used by the directions, worked like a charm. no bubbles, can't even tell that its on. It was a bit pricey for what you get but so far very happy....

Trick to a Dust Free Application!
Written by RP from Mentor
Oct 9, 2008
Ok this itouch cover is awesome! I am very happy I made this purchase. After reading all of the reviews I see that many people are having trouble putting it on with out getting dust between the screen and the film.
Heres the answer to that!
Go into your bathroom (I brought a chair and a bar stool, one to sit on the other for my itouch to rest on) and turn the shower on full blast hot water and let the room steam up. The moisture in the air will make the dust particles heavy and they will fall and not float around. Be sure not to make sudden movements. Use a lint free cloth (preferably one that you clean your glasses with) to clean your itouch and look at your itouch from each side making sure that you removed all the dust. Once the dust is removed slowly apply the film and walla! Dust free screen protector!
Trick: There will be enough moisture in the air that it will make the dust particles heavy but not enough to cause malfunction to your itouch. if its getting to humid you can always turn the fan on for a short while!
Good luck! It worked for me!58 of 60 people found this useful

Best Screen Protector Available
Written by SP from Wheaton
Oct 8, 2008
Not only will this protect your screen from minor damaged, but it also does two other great things. 1) It is resistant to fingerprints 2) it allows your fingers to "slide" much easier across the screen than on the regular glass or other screen protectors. This makes 2 finger gestures such as zooming in or out much easier.
Both the front and back pieces fit the 1g ipod touch perfectly. The back piece does not fit the 2g touch at all, but the front piece does fit it (not perfectly though, there is a small gap at the top (below the top bezel, about 2mm) when the hole for the home button is lined up right.
Application is a little tricky because if any dust or fuzz gets under the screen, it won't go on right. I found the best way to get it just right was to peel back the part with dust on it, take some tape and stick it the the sticky side with the dust, then pull the tape off. You can take it on and off as many times as you want and it will still stay on just fine, so the application is not a do or die thing like some other screen protectors. Once its on right, it is amazing.31 of 32 people found this useful

Cleanable!
Written by DD from Brown Deer
Oct 7, 2008
When I first applied the plastic, there were too many dust particles; when I carefully removed it, I took it to a sink and washed them off. Bizarrely, the new-fangled polymer adhesive remained sticky. Reapplying, I had one dust mote along an edge and another close enough to lift again and remove it should I want to. Fortunately, I can't see it whilst watching videos.
With a 2G and its curved backside, the protector for that region doesn't really stay on; perhaps the company can include a backup screen piece instead for newer Touch models?
My only complaint is with the packaging. Open one end CAREFULLY lest you bend the protector.14 of 14 people found this useful

Works flawless!
Written by JL from Raleigh
Oct 4, 2008
I have been very skeptical about many of the screen protectors due to their impossible nature of putting them on without bubbles, but this product totally changed my opinion. The front cover went on flawlessly! The screen has works as it should and still looks very crisp and clean. As everyone has mentioned (and even in the instructions that came with it), be sure to clean you iPod thoroughly before applying the screen protector. I am totally happy with this purchase!

Read in bright sunlight!
Written by DK from New York
Sep 23, 2008
If you use your touch to read books this is essential. You can read in any light, even bright sunlight. There's no mirror effect to distract you and you can "turn" the pages without leaving fingerprints. Get it and you'll be amazed how much you love reading books on your touch.

It just works - On 1st Gen,
Written by CB from SIMI VALLEY
Sep 17, 2008
It does what it says. As previous reviewers have said, it does not fit perfectly on the 2nd gen Touch. (It's perfect on 1st Gen) There is a little left over space around the edges. I use a case for extra protection so it doesn't affect me, but it you use your touch in the raw, you will need to wait for the 2nd gen version. Besides that, great anti glare coating and it does an even better job keeping finger prints and smudges off the screen. It does not effect the visibility of the screen.

Works like its supposed to!
Written by AS from Flushing
Sep 15, 2008
For everyone here who is upset. This is a simple product that requires a little bit of patience and a flexible hand. Things that you require:
1. A clean room (not necessarily an Intel room)
2. A Credit card or an object similar to it that is straight.
3. Scotch tape (in case dust or lint from outer space comes and settles on it)
4. Apple iPod touch and a hand
Start from the applying it to the screen first its much easier, but also look at the alignment. Then keeping a finger on the screen and using a credit card, flatten it out. Now tell me, is there anything harder to do. If you are that superficial, wash your hands and wear one of those scrubs that doctors wear when they go to perform surgery or deliver babies. This baby will stick and never ask for anything ever again.17 of 21 people found this useful
