Power Support Anti-Glare Film Set for iPod touch
GREAT.!

This is the best film set ever that apple has came out with...I have been through 3 ipods and the ipod touch is by far the most sensitve and fragile...In my world I always need a case, but this time I placed the film set on, and no air bubbles...but if u dont take ur time u will get air bubbles, so everyone else who thinks this is a bad product because there is air bubbles its not always true it depends on if u whoop it on , or smoothly place it on the sensitive glass...
DEFINITLY WORTH IT IF U WANT TO PREVENT SCRATCHES!9 of 10 people found this useful

This case is great and does exactly what is says it does. I had no problems applying to the ipod touch. In my opinion it isn't nescesary to get another case around it but you can if you want even more protection for the sides. great product

Power Support Anti-Glare Film Set for iPod touch
Great Product

I bought this to go with a rubber case for my Touch and it is great. The frosted screen does not reduce clarity at all, and it makes finger prints and smudge marks less visible. Applying it was very easy. The actual film peels off of the plastic like a sticker, so the easiest way to apply it is to put it on the iPod as you peel it off of the plastic. This also reduces the air bubbles. And since it is not an adhesive, you can peel it right back off without damaging the iPod. I am very pleased with it. Great product.

Power Support Anti-Glare Film Set for iPod touch
A must for first line protection
Written by DB from Calgary
Feb 20, 2008
These are two of the most expensive pieces of plastic that I have ever purchased but they are absolutely worth it. For my previous iPod I tried the Agent 18 product and it was good in functionality but the case scratched too easily and the two halves added quite a heft to the unit. I couldn't see going back to Agent 18 when the enjoyment of the touch depends so much on visibility.
These pieces are all but invisible. As with all plastic films application is a pain and you will get air bubbles if you don't take your time. All of my bubbles except for one very minor one are on the back. The film goes on differently onto metal than it does on glass. If you perfect the back application first you will have absolutely no trouble applying the film perfectly to the front glass. For the glass application just make sure the surface is entirely free of dust. I didn't remove the factory film until I was ready to apply this protective film so dust was not an issue.
For my second line of defense I bought a SENA leather pouch. Very cool and the iTouch fits like a glove. The two together barring some physical catastrophe should keep my iTouch in perfect condition for a long time.
In the end almost 10% of the iTouch purchase price went into protection.5 of 5 people found this useful

Power Support Anti-Glare Film Set for iPod touch
This would have been great, BUT...

This probably qould have been a good product. When I applied it the first time, I got a ton of air bubbles, and it wan't allined perfectly with the iPod- so I took it off and tried again. This time there was even more air bubbles and it got all dirty and dusty. Also, it ruins the quality of the screen; images distorted and grainy, probably from the dust and oil. I don't know if the crystal is better- probably isn't. All I do know is that I'm into a lot of trouble with this this case. If you had a completely immaculate space and "magic fingers" to apply this product, and if you are able to do it once, perfectly, this would be great.

IDEAL with ...
Written by RK from San Francisco

This product is great if you use it in tandem with an iSkin touch silicone case. It covers the entire front face of the iPod and the iSkin seals the film firmly in place with no openings for separation and dust. The iSkin comes with a film that only fits over the screen of the iPod so it separates at the edges and allows dust onto the glass screen on the edges. It also is very difficult to apply. The Power Support film applied very easily if you line up the film from the bottom and gently stroke your way up. I needed a couple attempts but found that it was easy to reapply. Now the cost of the iSkin is $29.99 so add that to the Power Support film and you come up with a $44.94 case plus shipping and/or tax. However, the iSkin is superb case that fits like a glove and protects your investment. So it's worthwhile to get both. A drawback is that you end up with the back film that can't be used as effectively on the front if you wanted to replace the original front one.

I love this product

As a stand-alone case, in my opinion this isn't a good choice, but if you use it in combination with another case it works wonders! The screen protector really is anti-glare, as ait says, and it seems to make my screen more sensitive to touch. In addition, it gives the screen a great feel, no longer does it feel like I'm rubbing my finger across a window when I use my iPod Touch. I really recommend this to every iPod Touch users.

Pros
Easy to apply
Cant even tell it's on
Cons
Colours look a bit off/grainy, like a less extreme version of when you turned on your touch with both plastic layers on out of the box3 of 13 people found this useful

so the best thing to do is what to take of the film that comes on the ipod when u get it cuz less smudges and stuff, then put on the anti glare film, but it took me sometime to get it on cuz it have so little air bubbles and i needed to get them out, it was cuz of dust on the anti glare thing so to get the dust on the anti glare film is to use packing tape(clear selifan or whatever) and pat it with the tap to remove the the dust on the film, then now its looks really good!!! great product!

Great at first....

This product is a great product if you are going to put your ipod inside another case. However as a stand alone protectant, this product leaves a lot to be desired. The films arent sticky enough to stay put. I have only had mine on my ipod touch for about 3 weeks and back is already curling and peeling on the edges.

This is a great product. However, if you have pets it would be worth it to take your ipod somewhere other than your house to apply the film. The smallest piece of lint or hair under it will make a bubble.

Impossible To Put On
Written by JW from Old Tappan
Feb 9, 2008
This took so many tries to get properly on and it was dirty so i had to clean it. I still haven't been able to get all the air bubbles out after two days of trying. But, it protects the screen great and the anti glare works. Apple needs to come out with an easy to put on screen protector minus the air bubbles.

Must Have

This product is amazing! Was almost afraid to use the Itouch in fear that I would do irrepairable damage to the screen - this works perfectly! The image is crystal clear and I have no worries about damage or marks. I've only applied to the front and use the Agent18 hard case for the back. I read in advance of applying the film that there were problems with air bubbles etc.,so I just found the most meticulous person I know to do it for me and avoided any frustration.

I'm very pleased with this because it protects the front of the IPOD Touch from scratches and dust. It was extremely easy to apply. I wish the back piece would cover the back entirely.

Works great with a little work...
Written by JD from Columbus
Feb 6, 2008
I knew I wanted protection for my new iPod Touch, but was hesitant to try it myself. I was going to ask someone at the Apple store where I got it and the iPod to put it on for me, but the store was packed, and I was lucky to get someone to help me check out. I took it home, and it wasn't too bad. The back was a little trickier than the front. It is less rigid than the front, and thus more prone to bubbles. I had to try a couple times, but finally got it. I used a credit card to smooth it out. I ended up with a bubble at the bottom of the back side, but it doesn't really matter since I've got it in an Agent 18 hard plastic case. The front went on really easy. I just had to make sure that it was lined up right. I did all this right after opening up the box for the iPod and taking off the protective cover it comes with, and I was careful not to let the covers touch anything or touch it anywhere except for the very edge. Very pleased with this product. I would have given it five stars if the back would have gone on easier, but not bad over all.

Seems Great - Application Important
Written by JC from Halifax
Feb 4, 2008
So far this product seems great, but the procedure to apply the film seems to be very important (See instructions below). I was able to apply the film with absolutely zero bubbles on the front. The back had some bubbles (with a different procedure) that I was able to remove. I installed in a humid setting (after a shower), but not sure if this helped or not. I suggest doing the back first (as a practice, since the front is more important)
my Back Procedure (unsuccessful)
- place starting edge in position, then remove all of backing strip and allow film to "fall" into place. This produced bubbles.
my Front Procedure (successful way)
- leave factory film on screen until immediately before installation so that screen is completely clean
- starting at bottom (Home button), bare just enough film to center the hole
- bending film backwards so that pressure is applied along the screen (the pressure is IMPORTANT! it prevents the bubbles), slowly "roll" the film into place maintaining pressure while just removing the backing strip only just as necessary (removing the backing strip to fast presents a greater chance of contamination)
-this produced absolutely no bubbles on my screen61 of 69 people found this useful
