Perfect and Unnoticeable but Hard to Apply

This screen / iPod protector is perfect. Although people say the iPod Touch screen is unscrachable it can get scrached sometimes. It is hard to apply because it is self adheasive (unlike the static cling ones from Invisible Shield) so it is harder to apply. it blocks out the reflection and isn't nodicable. You can also put it on the back and use it with a case that hugs you ipod really tightly (Incase Slider Recomended also) Although it takes time to put it on and squeeze out the bubbles it is worth it! (cleen you ipod really well so you dont get dust uner it! (I'm a new Touch owner and i bought this with the ipod and when the apple screen protector came off this one was on withen a minute so i didnt get any dust. I Highly recomend this case if you are willing to pay the pricy price and devote 10-20 minutes to clean the ipod and apply it.

protects your ipod, does no harm when you decide, if you decide rather, to take it off. the only thing you have to worry about is getting it on right. great product.

Yields deeper colours

Great product, the film truly does away with glare and makes screen/content colours much richer. In the rigid cardboard packet you get 2 sets of back & front films; the front film has a circular cut-out which allows you to press the Home button (but, you knew that right?)
Before applying give your iPod a good cleaning with the cloth; you don't want smudges/dust showing through. Take your time when applying! See an air bubble? stop, lift back and lower again smoothing out the film as you go.
Finally, I also bought InCase's Slide-In case; the film on the iPod does not pose a problem in inserting the iPod into the case and provides added protection to the screen.

It was a great product until i took it off to try and get dust from under it. Then it just collecting more dust! If anyone has got one after they got there ipod and it still worked ok (i got mine with it) please tell me in a review! thanks

The anti-glare film works great to protect the screen of the ipod. While it is slightly difficult to apply the film, once its on (don't try to take it off again even if its not perfectly aligned!) it protects the screen flawlessly. I got mine from the apple store and for 29.95, it provides a rubber backing (similar to the incase cases) along with the film for really great protection of both the screen and metal. I highly recommend this product, more specifically the one the apple store provides =]

I tried a few and this is by far the best protector ever!!!! Absolutly no finger prints which I love about it :) Any one should get it!!!

Wow, I love this product. Today I had been swimming at the local pool when I got out and quickly put all of my stuff together. I put my Ipod inside my book to hold the page (first mistake). While walking on the gravel road the Ipod slipped out (secound mistake) and hit the gravel from at least a 4.5 foot drop. I quickly picked it up and continued on my walk. later, at home I looked at the Ipod and saw that the screen was completely dented with scrapes everywhere. I took off the film, and amazingly the screen looked like new. no scratches at all!!! This is an amazing product and I don't regret paying for it at all. I only wish I had bought it sooner to prevent the scratches on the back, and the one scratch on the screen. They should really build this into the Ipod, Its so great, worth every penny!!!!

I put it on the ipod touch both sides went on flawlessly.

i noticed that the front was a little off, i wanted to fix that ( i am a perfectionist) and it collected dust and and made air bubbles every where.. i am trying to clean it right now.. running it under water and letting it air dry...any tips?

I just bought it but I have to buy a new set. No place on earth that is sufficiently dust free & while placing the film, it seemed to pull in dust from the air. Now there is tons of dust stuck between the film & my ipod, significantly decreasing its look and visibility.

Blurs the screen

I ordered this film for my ipod touch along with the magenta (pink) incase case. I cleaned my iPod as a previous user had suggested.. (wipe off very well with a slighty damp paper towel then wipe with a lint free towel.. The little cloth that comes with the iPod will work great for a final wipe.)

I had no problem applying the film.. Just line up the home button hole and then carefully smooth on.. That part wasn't a problem.. I finished that and put my case on and it looked great.. Then came the problem..

When I powered on my touch the film was immediately noticeable.. To me at least. Older people may not notice.. My mom said she couldn't tell a difference.. But it puts a filmy look on the screen which basically ruins the beautiful bright clear screen. For me it was too much of a detraction.

Then comes the second problem.. It says on the instructions that you can remove and reapply.. This doesn't work.. I tried to reapply it once I had taken it off tomake sure I didn't like it.. And it just didn't go on well.. So peoples Beware: this is a one shot deal... After and dust or big bubble gets under it it ruins it.

I chose to return it because I didn't like the way it made the screen look.. Plus the screen really doesn't need protection.. Just check out the youtubes showing durability tests .. The screens are incredibly durable and unscratchable.

So as a recap .. I'd say just save yourself the $$$

As for the incase case... Its absolutely fabulous :)

What else can i say besides that it is an amazing product? I wanted a way that i could prevent scratches to appear on my touch and something that would prevent myself from wiping away fingerprints every 5 seconds and this is the PERFECT product to do so. It comes with two anti-glare films and two back films but if you're getting a rubber backing like i did, you don't really need to one for the back. I went to the apple retail store and asked them to apple the film for me. He did a fantastic job doing it. He applied it in one shot and there were no air bubbles or little specks of dust at all!
No fingerprints, no scratches, and no glare! what else could you ask for from this product?

I ordered this with my ipod touch. I put it on quickly before class right after I took both products out of their cases. Somehow some dust got onto my ipod touch and some big bubbles formed. I was worried, but eventually took the front protector off and used scotch tape to pull all the dust from both the ipod touch and the protector. It then went on very smooth without any air bubbles.
After a bumpy start, this product has really proved to be amazing. It doesn't show any finger prints and you can't even tell there is a screen protector on it.

i've had this for about a month, and it was a breeze to install, no airbubbles whatsoever. the back had a few, but was easily removed within seconds. the screen looks amazing, with no loss in clarity or performance, free from fingerprints, and scratches. the back however, gets scratches on the film, shows how bad my ipod could have looked without it. overall, i think this is by far the best screen protector on the market. i would definitely recommend this product.

I've been trying some screen protector films for my new iPod Touch, and this is the best for styling, performance, and protection. I combined this film set with the Agent 18 Clear Case, and it's just absolutely awesome, it makes my iPod looks better too. I have the 32GB iPod Touch, and I want to make sure I get the best protection for this 500 dollars investment, and I got it.

Just make sure you have a can of air duster spray, it comes in handy during the installation, to keep the dust away.

align the hole in the film with the home button. it will be easier to align it correctly this way. when putting it on, make sure one corner does not touch. if you have put it on correctly, put the corner down and hold it. when putting it on, get a credit card, gift card, id, etc. and slide it across, pushing it down directly after the film is being put on the iPod. if you mess up, gently peel off, and try again. there will be no bubbles if your screen is clean. clean thuroughly before applying. get a moist paper towel and get the screen slightly wet, and let it dry itself. then get a t-shirt and rub it to wipe off any dust.
wanted to pass along these instructions as they are the best way to apply the film.

absolutely LOVE this product, no longer see fingerprints on my ipod touch. just wish I had bought the film along with my touch, fingerprints on it were driving me nutty ! thanks for listening to my rant

I got an ipod touch about a week ago and i didn't want it to get scratchet so i bought this And MAN am I happy i did ( i also bought the speck see-through duo cases in red and smoke-also highly reccomended). The screens leave a slight texture to your finger so it's easy to slide and read in bright light and oil and other residue don't stick on it- there is absolutely zero fingerprints, smudges or scratches on my cover. Also the texture doesn't effect the brightness, the screen images are as bright and colorful as they are without the protector. I have to admit, though i did get a few airbubbles- but they were very tiny and my friend helped me remove them with her nail easily.
But overall, i think this product is 120% worth it for any ipod touch owners.
