    FINGERPRINT KILLER FILM

Written by GF from Rowland Heights

    Dec 18, 2007

Okay, so basically before I bought the film, I was self doubt myself whether to buy it or not. Because I didn't want to LOSE the QUALITY of the IPHONE amazing INTERFACE. But I took a risk and bought it anyway. I just put the film on a few minutes ago, and with some patience--it looks astoundingly amazing. Here are the reasons:

1.) Quality is NOT LOST from the anti-glare coating, keeping the colors on the screen BRIGHT and CONTRASTING.
2.) If tilted, you will still be able to see the screen's contents without any type of difficulty.
3.) Amazing texture, absolutely comfortable and amazing.
BONUS: NO FINGERPRINT SMUDGES. The film doesn't like fingerprints, keeping the iphone looking sexy as usual.

BEST BUY EVER, 5 out of 5!

    Works and looks great!

I needed something to protect my iPhone face from scratches, and agonized over whether to get the regular or anti-glare films. I opted for the anti-glare film and couldn't be happier. I no longer have to wipe off the face of my phone all the time as the film doesn't collect fingerprints and smears. It also doesn't cause any noticeable dimming of the screen (another concern I had). I also like the tiny bit of texture this film adds - now it's almost exactly like the trackpad on my MacBook Pro laptop, and even easier to use than without a film on the phone. It was very easy to put on - be sure the face of the phone is completely clean (I used the felt cleaner that came with the phone) AND definitely work in a dust/lint-free area. But it was simple to put on, just start laying it down from one end, smoothing as you go. Take your time and you won't have any problem at all.

    THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!

    Written by JK from Memphis

First of All...I am Alex not JK!

    Second...

When I first got my iPhone, I bought the Power Support Crystal Jacket Set which came with the non anti-glare version of this film set. I liked how it protected the screen, but there was one HUGE problem....FINGERPRINTS! Everywhere. I think that I had more fingerprints with the non anti-glare than I did with out it. So...I tried the Anti-Glare Film Set. Finally! No more fingerprints. I love this product if you want the best film set, this is it. It is the same price as the non anti-glare film set and is a billion times better. I do however reccomend that you ask a genuis at the Apple Store to put it on for you. It can be difficult to put on and some how....they can do it! They must be geniuses or something! Well that about wraps it up. Buy this, buy the Contour Showcase, and protect your iPhone. Good Luck! (Remember- Anti Glare Film Set for iPhone and Contour Showcase)

Good if you can get it on right. Takes a few tries!

This is kind of tricky to get on. Need to have very clean surface. I used a microfiber cleaning cloth to make sure the iPhone surface is dirt and smudge-free. Carefully hold film at edges and place it over the home button, then carefully lay the rest of it down. I used a credit card to smooth out all the air bubbles. No matter how good I get it on, I do notice little air bubbles creeping up at the corners. Oh well, it's the best option out there. This product can also be cleaned with a little warm water and re-used, so I think it's a good bet at $15.

Don't hesitate, your iPhone is worth the 15 bucks.

This is probably the best iphone accessory out there. It's extremely simple but it does an amazing job. This protective film set comes with two sheets of anti-glare film. It's a little tricky lining the film up when you are applying it, so apply with caution. Make sure you are working in an extremely clean environment, free of dust and hair because it's really easy to collect on the film and get stuck.

I was so happy after putting it the film on. At first I thought that it would feel unnatural and the touch response wouldn't be the same but it actually feels better than the iphone's screen IMHO. It has a plastic like feel which your fingers really glide over smoothly. I found that with the iphone it was a little harder to drag things around because my fingers would grip to the glass, well that problem has been solved! I also noticed that there are NO smudges after using it a bit. It doesn't even look like the film is there and its thick enough to actually do what its supposed to.

I haven't tried the "crystal" film set yet, but I doubt it can be better than this. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in keeping their iphone screen scratch free.

    No More Smudges

Written by CV from Clifton Park

    Jan 23, 2008

I used the Crystal film for a few months. I was constantly wiping off the smudges from my face and fingers. I started using the anti-glare a few weeks ago. No more smudges. I do find some distortion when in a dark room. It looks like wavy lines when viewing text. Videos look good though.

I'll continue to use the anti-glare, and I would recommend it to anyone.

    Very Good Product

    Written by BM from Elkton

I have tried both the crystal film and the anti-glare film. I must say that I like them both. The crystal film is nice in that it is "crystal" and you can't tell you have it on the phone, but once you start using the phone you find yourself cleaning the finger prints off the film all the time. The anti-glare film does not show finger prints nearly as much as the crystal film but you will know that there is a film on your phone. Though you notice the film on your phone, if applied correctly, the film will not detract from the look at all and actually keeps a nicer appearance to the phone as there is not a lot of visual oil marks from finger prints. Bottom line, this of course is a personal opinion, if you are watching a lot of videos and looking at a lot of photos - go with the crystal film, if you are using it for a phone, an ipod, and using the other functions of the iphone and not so much the video - you will be fine with the anti-glare, but you will know there is a film on your phone.

If you don't put it on immediatly after you peel it off the backing you will get fibers and dust stuck to it. And putting it on with no air bubbles is tough but I've found using a credit card works great. Once its on correctly it is awesome!!!

    The best screen cover, period

Written by MA from Creve Coeur

    Mar 11, 2008

Between my iPhone and my girlfriends iPod touch, we've tried every screen protector made. Since I'm a little OCD about greasy streaks on the screen of my iPhone the anti-glare film is perfect for me. It completely removes any finger or face oil smudges. If you're looking for a solution like I was, this is the one to get.

I don't have a single negative thing to say about the films. I just wish there was a device, like labeling CDs or DVDs, to accurately put the films on without a struggle.

I am so glad that I bought this product. I just got it a few minutes ago and put it on...I can't understand why people had trouble installing this. I will admit that I had bubbles the first time and had to do it over, but that was my own fault. I didn't have any trouble removing it from the surface of my phone. The film didn't break or tear when I tried to get it off. I put my pink Jam Jacket right over it without any difficulties.
The film does not interfere with the vividity of the display. I was scared that it would interfere with the touch screen, but the functionality is exactly the same as with the film off!
    It keeps fingerprings off! Yay!
I'm also quite happy that it shipped a day early! Now I can put my phone in my purse or pocket and not have to carry it around in my hand everywhere I go and accidentally leave it on a table in a restaurant or something!! (I'm prone to that. hahaha)

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to protect their baby from scratches:-) At first I thought the price was too high for "just a couple of pieces of plastic" but I promise it's really worth it.

    Worth Twice the Price...

Written by JE from Jersey City

So, yeah. Now that you've spent your hard-earned dollars on the iPhone, you have to protect the screen. Not that the protection is the best part at all, though. This film eliminates all the unsightly oils and smudges that accumulate from normal use. It actually helps you type because it's easier to get traction. The anti-glare is wonderful for using the device outside as well. I read a review that recommended using two strips of tape. The tape definitely did the trick. Just get two pieces of cellophane tape and put one on either side. It's very easy if you do this. Just make sure you've cleaned the screen with a lint-free cloth and I used a tiny bit of glass cleaner. Once, applied, sit and marvel at how you could actually improve an already fantastic device!

    Tried both

    Written by EA

    Jan 27, 2008

I first bought the Crystal because it was the first screen protector
    out.
After seeing the reviews for the Antiglare I thought it may be a better
    choice.
Went out and bought the Antiglare.

    Pro: Antiglare works less glare.
Pro: Less finger prints. (no big deal the Crystal wipes clean)
Response and feel: Smoother and better traction with Crystal
    Con: Hard to read print.
    Con: Made everything look grainy.
Switched back to the Crystal because it's CRYSTAL clear. (just like the glass but you are protected)
Make sure you use a lintless cloth The one it come with (get the screen perfectly clean]
    Use the shower to steam the bathroom. (no dust}
Peel it back and hold by the edges (like a dvd)
Take your time and "Lay down the protector"
Line up the home button and the edges.
Get the Speck tough case and your good to go!

HATE those finger smudges on your iPhone? Don't buy the clear crystal cover, get this anti-glare one instead. Here's the scenario: You buy your iPhone and after day 1 you can't stand the constant fingerprints. You buy the crystal film set and VOILA---still the same "daily" polishing routine---BLAH---who needs that? The anti-glare film set solved all that. Now I polish maybe once or twice a week. Much better. Now here's the deal: I spent 15 bucks already on the crystal clear film before discovering this one... (as the guinea-pig) and this advice will save hundreds from making the same mistake I made. I don't want much, maybe $1 from each customer for my "pain & suffering"... (hehe)... ohhh--OKAY THEN!!... forget it! If you hate the fingerprints buy the anti-glare.

    It Just Works (Sound Familiar?)

Before I left the Apple store to purchase my iPhone, I made sure I bought this. I had already read reviews evaluating this little accessory and I'm glad I did. If you're willing to pay $400-$500 for an iPhone, invest in this product. Plus--guess what... after you pay for it, ask a Genius to put it on for you-they're Geniuses they know how to better than the average buyer does, and they do a GREAT job.
The film will not make the touch interface less sensitive, plus forget having to wipe off finger-prints!
As we say in the Marine Corps, 'It's a good piece of gear'!
