Hi Im a kid (15 years old) and i like these kind of games like first person shooting and since I have no xbox or playstation I usually like to play on computer games.
I like this game since you can kill other people in the online game.
I got the mac since my other (nonmac) computer wasn't getting all the graphics well like Mac.
One thing I don't like about this game is umm... well I like everything about this game it's very fun and very thrilling. Well enjoy!
Tip:You can go to e bay and they will be selling some games like this one because they didn't read the front cover or back cover.20 of 42 people found this useful

I just got the new macbook 13.3 last month and i just craving for a game that had outstanding and a overall acceptable storyline.
Good game if you like first person shooter games!!!
Get this game if you have the new macbooks or a mac with good graphics and intel processor.
you can be the strogg (aliens) or GDF (humans) anytime during the game.
Complains...
user manual is not really helpful
The online option is confusing (maybe just me)
you have to use the disc to play39 of 45 people found this useful

Good Game but...Read the Requirements. E Bay has a bunch being sold by people who didn't see the INTEL MACs ONLY requirement.
I got it it as a gift from a friend who liked it, but until I upgrade my mac , it's a no go.
Based on playing on my friends Mac I'm giving 4 stars.18 of 25 people found this useful

Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars
Fun game, read the Suggestions.

I've never played an online game; Enemy Territory is fun and action packed, it never stops until the time runs out. However, there are a couple of suggestions to make note of.
#1 Practice with every type of character and test each of their pieces of equipment and what they can do.
#2 The instruction booklet that comes with the game is POORLY WRITTEN! It has little information and few details. I bought the Advanced Users guide which is very thorough. I suggest getting this too if you want to really get good at the game and enjoy some of the "secrets".
Overall I gave it 4 stars because I compare every game to Metroid Prime which is a 5 star game. This is 4.5 stars for a Mac game.
Enjoy!35 of 39 people found this useful

Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars
Good game but such limited resources

MAC USED:
iMac 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo; 1 Gb RAM.
REVIEW:
Very nice graphics and the game was lots of fun. This was our first ever game in the Quake world.
We turned the setting for details (shaders, terrain, etc.) to either medium or high and surprisingly the iMac handled the game well.
We were very happy with the game, the graphics, plot.
Five complains:
1) We didn't want to play online so we chose "Play on Computer" and there were not many maps.
2) We couldn't save the game; if we quit then we had to start over.
3) We wanted to support the makers of Mac games but we couldn't find the Mac community for this game.
4) The game was a bit over $50. We tried to make a legal backup of the game - we worried about getting scratches, etc. -- but none of the copies worked. We tried several software to make backup copies but no luck. This is so bad. If you scratched your disc then you'll need to buy another copy.
5) When we quit the game, it actually took a long time to quit and "release" the iMac. Finder wouldn't appear for several minutes. This also happened with the Command & Conquer 3.
**** 4 stars for graphics and game playing
** 2 stars for the complains above117 of 159 people found this useful
