I love this game, but...

I love this game, and have been playing sims for a while, but the other day for some reason I went to play it, and it's not starting up. I can't figure out why it won't play. I click the icon from my dock, and it bounces like it's about to play, but then it stops, and nothing happens.. does anybody know how to help me??

The sims 2 seasons is so fun! There are a ton of cool items and actions. I got this game with the sims 2 pets, and this one is way more fun. If I had to choose between pets and seasons, I would choose seasons by far! BUY THIS GAME!
