In Free-Play mode, a user cannot save and exit. Which means that you must complete every board EVERY time you play in order to collect more objects and such.

On my pimped-out Mac, I cannot adjust the volume in the game either.

There are many other little "hitches" that the developer said they "forgot" to put in.

It WOULD be a great game and if you can deal with imperfection: go for it. Otherwise, play Lego Indiana Jones, they got that one perfectly!

AWESOME game, very addictive. Started playing and found myself awake at 6:00 in the morning. And that's kinda sad seeing as someone my age who has two jobs and goes to college full time plays this stuff. Very fun very addicting, great graphics, only bad thing is its a tad laggy at times, but so is the PS2 version. Great game, must buy!

This is an excellent game for people of all ages, whether you're an older gamer or buying it for your kids. The graphics are great: Wonderfully detailed and brightly colored. The movement of the characters is a bit laggy on my MacBook, but I am positive it would not lag on a faster system. I recommend this game for anyone, especially if you're a fan of the Star Wars movies!

After reading all of the reviews here online, I wanted to write my own. I am not sure why this game would not work on any mac, however check the specs to be sure that your MAC is compatible before purchasing.

This game is sooooo FUN! I love the Star Wars story line. This game is simple, It is addictive, It makes you laugh, and is one of the most clever kid games I have ever run across that is even fun for an adult.

It's a kids game so the graphics are simple. It's lego for petes sake! If you buy this game, expect it to be simple, and expect to spend hours playing it.

It is also a platinum seller, which means that millions of copies have been sold to many happy customers.

Thank Said.... enjoy it. This is a GREAT game choice.

I purchased this for my boys for x-mas, it crashed my system over and over... and i have a brand new i-mac. Had a very difficult time uninstalling as well. Bottom line, i returned it and got something better.

This game is so awsome!! It is packed with fun new ways to save the galexy and have fun with all the cool jedi's and wookies and all the siths!!! You totally have to check this game out for yourself because I cant tell you every thing but I still have to tell you that it is one of the best games out there!!

When I first heard of LEGO Star Wars, I thought it sounded like just about the worst idea ever. Every LEGO game before this one has been mediocre, at best. However, after playing the original LEGO Star Wars, I changed my mind. It is amazingly fun- probably one of the most fun Star Wars games around- and is fun for all ages, not just little kids. It's not to hard to win- but it took me months of occasional gameplay (probably would take a few weeks of regular gameplay) to get every last extra and gold brick- there's so much replay value. The graphics are wonderful- nothing looks real, but it looks exactly like legos. One word of warning, however- on the new Macbook Pros, the ones with the nVidia graphics chips, any custom characters turn blue. No idea why.

My 4 year old son is addicted to this. Bad. He loves it and so do I (35 year old dad). Great graphics and it follows the story perfect. Both him and I are big fans of the movie, so it made it easy to follow along. He knows all the keys and how to operate everything. We opened up all the levels after just a few days of playing. But its not over after you do that. Theres is tons more to unlock and build. Great game. Go get it for the Star Wars fan.

Worth The Wait

OMG- What a great game. Fantastic Graphics, Cool Characters and lots of fun levels.

I thought the game would never be available. I saw it at Macword in February and was told it would be out in March. But then they kept pushing the date out and then when it finaly came out there was a delay on shipping to Apple Retail Stores. But now that it is finally out I see how much work they put into it and forgive them. If you like Star Wars and played the first Lego Star Wars Game then you need to buy this game.
