Haven't played yet but getting this to install on 10.5 was annoying....

I had to e-mail the publisher of this game to find out why this wouldn't install on my computer. Here is what they said:
This bug will be fixed in patch 1.0.4 (which is not ready yet)
In the meantime you can manually install the program and it will work fine then.
To do this, open the CD icon labeled "World Class Poker".
Click on the Edit menu and then click on Select All
Leave that window open and then open the Macintosh HD icon.
Open the Users folder and then open the folder with your username on it.
Open the WcPoker folder
Now, drag the items from the World Class Poker window to the wcPoker window and let go.
If it asks you if you want to replace a file, click on the Apply to All box and then click on the Replace button
When it is finished copying, you should be able to play.

While I can see it worked I haven't played the game yet. I will write another review when I do. I just wanted to get these instructions up so everyone knew what to do.Was this useful?

Graphics simple but effective. Good tips and tutorials.
The players way of playing is quite realistic with all the different attitudes...
At the end of the day it's a good training if you don't wanna wait 20 secs per players on a free internet poker site. You can play really quickly and see a lot of hands which can be interesting.
Try to find the weakness of the computer to win the main event (240 Players tournament)

Won't intall on my 10.5.5 laptop

Bought it, ain't installing correctly, i assume it's because it says "10.4" on the installer and i'm on 10.5..bought it today at the apple store in cupertino...think they'd warn ya?

"All in" its a Great Bloomzone Poker Game

I have been playing poker for a couple of years and bought the game to give me something to do when I had a spare moment. I can happily say that instead of playing it for a few minutes I find myself "playing" on the tables for hours. The graphics, although quite simple, are good and the animations make this feel like you are not just playing the computer. I love Texus Hold 'em, and play that the most, but the game also has several other Poker variations which I was not familier with and with the help of the tutorials I now know the different rules behind Stud poker, Draw poker and Omaha Hold 'Em. The hints and tips also give the game more depth and if you follow the advice I found it has helped inprove my game. You can also play in one of the several tournaments to boost your funds or even try for the main event.
