I got hooked just by playing the demo. I realized I was hooked after I looked up at the clock and three hours had passed. This game has stunning visual effects and easy to use controls. I have never played any of the AOE's and had no problem easily playing this one.

If you're looking for a great game, this is it.

Age of Empires III works very well on my MacBook so technically it does everything that it says that it will do. What it is not is it is not Age of Empires II or even AOE One (I). Those versions were more fun and more versatile.

This is a great game and everything i hoped for!
I have had lots of fun building my armies to huge sizes and having full out war with the suronding tarritory,
(dont worry i wont do that for real.)

Pure Amazing

This game, was an obvious must-buy for me. It should be for all AOE fans. To start off, the campaign is amazing! There is a story, killer graphics, and even new weapons/buildings.etc. Did I mention the graphics? I placed it on my iMac and on my MacBook, they were both very good. The MacBook, usually doesn't provide as well for games, but it did for this game! MUST BUY!

this game is great. it has stunning graphs, controllable camera, great battles , great sounds, and the fact of many different strategy's. you can control 8 Civs, all explorers and claimers of the new world. there is the introduction of trading posts and native villages, both of which provide resources, Techs, and units. best RTS of the decade! maybe even ever! a must get! only a little pricy...

this game will keep you entertained for hours. the graphics are very detailed. the game gives you so much freedom and control over how you will create your your society. buy the game and you wont regret it!

This is no doubt one of the best games that I have ever played and it runs beautifully on my 2.4 ghz standard macbook and on my mac pro fully loaded and with 2 30" displays, I won't start. The game has a flawless interface so far but has a slightly longer load than other games of this genre. I have not found any bugs yet but the only drawback that would stop someone from buying this is if you want lasers and plasma cannons instead of Howitzers and cavalry. Also, because this game is so cheap I play it with my brother all the time.

I really loved AOE II and I thought this would be better. I saw the pre-views and I was like SWEET! But once I got the game, the "campaign" even though it has an actual goal and story (unlike AOE II) I was bored with it, and I could not bring myself to play the campaign again. I even got bored with the random matches... And that is what I was looking for from AOE III... Anyway I am off to play AOE II on the PC :|

I love this game and would recommend to anyone that loves RTS gaming. I will say that it has crashed a few times on me, so saving before going into battle is a must. It really only seems to freeze up when there are many units on screen at once and I also run the game in full detail and resolution.

I thought that when i was a buying a 90$ game pack it would be good. The menu runs fast but the game play i just to slow. i would not recommend the game. My Computer did have the requirements if you were wondering.

I absolutely love this game, but it's not worth it for the price that it's being sold. They expect me to pay $60 for this game when you can get AOE 3, The Warchiefs (the first expansion pack), and The Asian Dynasties (the second expansion pack that's not even on the Mac yet) for that same price, $60, for Windows. Not to say anything against Mac's (I also have a PC), I have one myself and love it, this is just a total rip off.

AMAZING, period.
When I first went to the store to get a game, and saw AOE III, I looked at the price and almost fainted. 54 bucks for THIS? Well apparently, after playing the game for 2 months now, I feel that I would've bought this game for 100 bucks if i had to!
GET AOE III TODAY!

Now i'm not crazy about stagey games i feel i must tell you this game is just awesome with online play and great gameplay it's almost like a updated version of warcraft 3 everything about the game is great i would buy this game over again buy it trust me

I was hesitant at first becuase of the price but now that I look back it's worth it. The story, gameplay and visuals make it worth it. The The Expansion seems like a no brainer after getting this title. I can't wait to get it. I hope they continue this series I love it!

This is amazingly fun and exiting. I just love it how you have to figure out what the heck the enemy is thinking about. Its a really really great game. I bought this game for macbook (white) and it works great! no lag too. Just remember to have at least 10 gb in your hard drive.. you know, so you dont lag like heck.
