I beat this game in like 3 days. Wasn't too challenging and when I beat it I was like "that's all?"

I had problems running the game with the new imac. There are patches but I wasn't impressed with the overall game and graphics.

More Games Like L.A.

Freeverse definitely has it's name on some good games. Legion Arena is the type of game that causes you to be late for work the next day because you forget about time and space. We need more games like this for Mac. It is a very good strategy game. Action is good as are the historical graphics and descriptions. I would recommend this game and many of the others on Freeverses web site.

Fun Game!
Written by DM from Honolulu

I've been playing Legion Arena for a few months now -- on some nights I can't stop! This is my first time playing this kind of strategy game, and it is very enticing. You can zoom in and watch the soldiers battle each other close up! It is important to remember to spend money to upgrade your troops' weapons and armor rather than buying large numbers of troops. A small but well trained and equiped army (about 10 units of various high-grade units such as praetorians, elephants, and heavy cavalry) is better able to defeat the enemy in various senarios than a huge, unprepared force. I hope an expansion pack is made for this game! I'm using a 2 GHz G5 Dual Processor Mac with 1 GB RAM and a 256 MB ATI card and the game works great!
