Cars: Radiator Springs Adventure
fun game when it actually works
Written by DC from St.Albert

My 5 year old son loves the game, unfortunately it does not want to cooperate. I have to reinstall it frequently because of errors or the game crashing and even then installation sometimes does not work.

Nice but

Though the game play is good for my five year old, it is plagued by frequent crashes. This is on my Mac Pro, My wife's New Mini and My son's iMac. We have tried using 10.5, 10.4 and 10.3 all have the same problems.

Have not had any of the problems others report. My kids (4 and 7) love it, and it has been useful in helping them to learn to cooperate.

i too like all of you have had the same installation problem - it wouldn't install. i kept clicking install after every error, i.e., kept re-attempting to install and one finally took! weird! but it's installing.

Cars: Radiator Springs Adventure
don't buy this
Written by DB from TACOMA

I bought this for my 3.5 year old. He can't really play it yet, but I can't see any child older than 3 finding any fun in the game. It is ridiculously repetitive where the only reason to play is because the game teases you with simplistic advancement. Waste of money and time. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

Warning: Don't tell 4 year old he can play this game on his MacBook. He can't. Even though they claim to have an intel patch, it doesn't work. Stay away at all costs.

Cars: Radiator Springs Adventure
Game not compatible with "Parental Control" accounts
Written by DM from Wynnewood
May 16, 2007
What a lemon. Of all games out there, would have at least expected a game based on Pixar(Steve Jobs CEO) movie, distributed by Disney (Steve Jobs = biggest shareholder), and written for Mac (Apple, Steve Jobs, CEO) - would be MacOS friendly and compatible.
But NO. If you set up a limited account for your child, and enable "Parental Controls", then the game will not play. Only from an administrator account can you play the game. Who else are these limited accounts with "Parental Controls" intended for, if not for preschool/toddlers?
Guess even Steve Jobs can't get third party software developers to design well for MacOSX.
Oh, and THQ (game publisher) hasn't even RESPONDED to emails for support.69 of 123 people found this useful

Cars RSA is a lemon.
Written by DK from Columbus

This game is awful. It requires a sequence of play to unlock various parts of the game. Kids hate this. Thay can not jump around to other parts until they reach certian metrics in other parts. I am trying to return this to the Apple store we bought it from.

Drive past it
Written by DS from San Anselmo

This is one of the few games stated for 4+ years, but my 4 year old has successfully played 6-10 year old games with less difficulty than this one. As an adult I found the interface to be complicated and the games complex. Frustrating for all.
