I love this game. The graphics are incredible, for start. Scrolling is smooth and the zookeeper help button now allows you to select what's perfect for your animal quickly rather than hunting it down under different categories. It runs a lot more smoothly, and I haven't had any problems with it quitting. I would recommend this game highly to all gamers.

This game has the coolset features! You can be a guest and experience the thrills of seeing new animals. Or you can be a zoo keeper and get up close and personal with some of your favorites. And on top of that the graphics are really advanced! It is totally worth buying it!

Good, But PC version is better because of expansions

Just switched to an imac and got its zoo version. Love the game but am very sad that all the expansion versions aren't made for the mac version of the game. Is there a plan to make that happen?

Awsome Game

I bought this game about 1 month ago. The game was very good it had lots of optons. And you can really go all out creating a zoo but it becomes kind of slow at times. I was running it on a eMac G4 800 Mhz with 640 MB of ram. If that happens to you you can just go to the game optons and change the detail of the game and that helps alot. Overall I think it is an awsome game.

This is a great game no dout about it. But, where are the expantion packs Apple? or Macsoft? It would be even more fun if you made the expantion pacs FOR MAC!

It gets pretty old after a while. You only have about 16 animals to choose from to start out with, if the expansion packs were available I would say its perfect. In this version you dont get any bridges, endangered species, under ground ability and other elements that come with the expansion pack like the safari version for one. I'd say its perfect for kids, but for the big kid, I would say wait until the expansion pack is out.

This game is the best game iv'e played all year. Not only do you get to build your own zoo but you get to walk around the zoo in the guests view, clean cages, and keep your zoo in tip-top shape. Caraboo, Lions, Crocidiles, and Emu's; you can find all of these animals in this must buy game. Expiriance the wonder for yourself.

I got this game and i absoulty love it im not an animal lover but this game is great fun and i play every morning as i wake i up and when i get home from schooll sometimes i have people round but i play it and we still have so much fun i highly recomend animal lovers to buy the game or others could try it i would say if u could rate it out of 100 i would give 100 out of 100 this game has outstanding graphics amzing sences but also amzing animals this game also comes with a bonus DVD with i have watched over and over again let me just say I LOVE ZOO TYCOON 2. you also have a downloads area where you can get some extras!!!!!!! I LOVE ZOO TYCOON and IM A TYCOONER

Fun For All Ages!

Cute game for the kids, but I became caught up in it myself. The biggest con is the graphics, there is definitely some room for improvement there. Otherwise, its a great game and a wonderful learning tool!

I can't wait for Endangered Species to come out for mac. I love zoo tycoon 2. I play it every day. The only problem is the wait between when it comes out and when it comes out for mac.

Great fun. Different than the 1st...

Neither version is really better. It really depends on what you want from it. If you have the first, and all you want is to make a zoo with tons of animals (if you dont care about the graphics) and you want money and guests and basic stuff, enjoy. Dont bother getting a new one. But the second one, you can take pictures from the point of veiw of the zookeeper, you can BE the zookeeper, you can feed the animals, poo gets picked up when you want, you can be a guest, and there are more interesting animals that do more realistic things, like the lemurs that cilmb trees and eat bannas. I also like to make the family trees. I'm twelve, soon to be thirteen in nine days, by my mom (48) loves it too. Really honestly. My personal preferance is the 2ed, so if you dont have either, Get the 2ed, not the first. If you have the first, Depends on what you like. Enjoy your game!

very fun but is very wierd if you had roller coaster tycoon 3 before this it not as easy hard to keep animals in if they can walk alot also very blurry if you have ATI Mobility Radeon 8980 or less

Don't buy if you have the MacBook Air!

I bought this game thinking I could install it over Remote Disc because I do not have the Superdrive. When I opened the disc on my computer (using remote disc) it said it had to be in MY computers DVD drive, not another's. Even if i had the superdrive, I bought a laptop so I wouldn't have to be sitting at a desk playing games or anything else and that's exactly what I would need to do to play this game.

I liked this game for a few weeks. Zoo tycoon 1 is waaaayyy better. I had trouble figuring this one out because it is more complicated. If you do buy tycoon 2, save it after every few minutes because it closes sometimes
