It is shown to use with photos but if you actually draw a comic it works as a time saver for layout of pages. Easy to add drawings. Does all the lettering, box framing, ballooning and added effects seen in most comic books in a breeze. It gives me more time to just draw. Perfect tool for publish a comic book or web comic.

I'm actually creating my first comic book and I happened upon this program on apple.com randomly tonight while looking for games to take a break from working on my first comic! HA! What a godsend! I was relieved! I was dreading having to draw all the panels and this program demo really works great and is very intuitive to use. As the other reviewer states that while the program is demonstrated with photos it is also useful to basic comic book artists - you simply make a folder with your scanned comic drawings and drop them right into place. You can even modify the panel boxes, fonts, page look-and-feel and alot more. I'm gonna purchase this right away only after using for about an hour! Kudos to the developer Plasq. I would like to see a cover page template in the next version. Program might also be a great way to use as storyboard templates too for filming...now back to work on my comic!!!

i used comic life because i had to make a card for my friend. instead of making one that has a cake and balloons i made it with pictures of her, and her friends! it was really cool because it wasnt actually a comic but it was a great layout to use!

This software makes having fun on the computer easy. I was impressed by the amout of options you have and by the ease of use that came with the program. It is a great program and helps out when you need something cool fast.

Used my youngest (6 years old) daughter's digital camera to snap some pictures and made our own comic. Both kids love this easy to use program, including the little touches such as the sound effects when resizing speech balloons, and the end result was spectacular. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend it!!! I love this program! I've used it with my 1st and 2nd graders. Great language development. Easy to use. Kids enjoyed working on it.

We spent days on a slow old pc trying to organise our wedding invites and were amazed when we bought our mac and used comic life. Within 5 minutes we had our invites all planned out beautifully. Don't let the title mislead you. So much fun but so much more than just comics.

A very fun program, and quite easy to use. Most functions are drag n' drop, or similarly intuitive. Friends and family get a big kick out of the end products. Endless possibilities for "just for fun" projects, and would be even more useful for a true comic creator.

I just started working with Comic Life and have already recommended it to several people. I could not believe how easy it is to create layouts. My grandchildren love seeing themselves in the weekly strip. Nice to see software than can be used by the whole family at an affordable price.

Great Program. I recently did some work on a family album and Comic life had great layouts to really make the photos stand out.

Can be used for many purposes not just comics!!!!!!!

I like this program. Easily import photos with drag and drop. Throw in the comic bubbles with ease.

I would really like to see an option of being able to save your work in PDF format or something that can be viewed across all platforms. The comic makers for windows allows for this, and I would like to see MAC users show off their creativity.

Love the program overall.

Incredibly easy; fun; versatile; with a lot of different options for titles and even how you want the photos/graphics to look. Easy to use, intuitive, easy to learn. I'm enjoying this one A LOT. Kudos to PLASQ for not only creating this program but making it so affordable.

This program is easy to use, works well with iPhoto and is very addictive. It's a great way to have some fun and make your photos more interesting. This is a great value for the price.
