I made a calender for my friends using Comic Life. Used comic life printouts that Office Max made into calenders. Gave it to many folks for Christmas several years ago. Used pictures gathered over the years with Comic Life captions. Everybody is still laughing and still wondering how it all looked so professional.

We spent days on a slow old pc trying to organise our wedding invites and were amazed when we bought our mac and used comic life. Within 5 minutes we had our invites all planned out beautifully. Don't let the title mislead you. So much fun but so much more than just comics.

I just started working with Comic Life and have already recommended it to several people. I could not believe how easy it is to create layouts. My grandchildren love seeing themselves in the weekly strip. Nice to see software than can be used by the whole family at an affordable price.

Incredibly easy; fun; versatile; with a lot of different options for titles and even how you want the photos/graphics to look. Easy to use, intuitive, easy to learn. I'm enjoying this one A LOT. Kudos to PLASQ for not only creating this program but making it so affordable.

A new way of communication

When you are done with your comic page - you can choose to save it, print it, email it or export it to iweb. If you choose the email - your compic page while be saved as a picture (jgp) and your Mail program starts with your comic page as an attachment.

Next time you want to say something by mail - do it with a comic page!

I like this program. Easily import photos with drag and drop. Throw in the comic bubbles with ease.

I would really like to see an option of being able to save your work in PDF format or something that can be viewed across all platforms. The comic makers for windows allows for this, and I would like to see MAC users show off their creativity.

Love the program overall.

I highly recommend it!!! I love this program! I've used it with my 1st and 2nd graders. Great language development. Easy to use. Kids enjoyed working on it.

This program is easy to use, works well with iPhoto and is very addictive. It's a great way to have some fun and make your photos more interesting. This is a great value for the price.

Used my youngest (6 years old) daughter's digital camera to snap some pictures and made our own comic. Both kids love this easy to use program, including the little touches such as the sound effects when resizing speech balloons, and the end result was spectacular. Highly recommended.

Great Program. I recently did some work on a family album and Comic life had great layouts to really make the photos stand out.

Can be used for many purposes not just comics!!!!!!!

The best thirty bucks I every spent on anything in computing. Not just for cartoons. I have used it to create wine lables, blogs, pod casts and web slide shows. The tools free your imagination in ways you can not see until you play with it for a while. And the tools are intuitive and simple to use. It is just a remarkably powerful tool for putting together text and graphics to convey information.

It is well inegrated with Iphoto. I have used my own photos and graphics but I have also imported photos from the web. The software is also rock solid.

I don't know if other software is WAY too expensive or Comic Life is too cheap, but this is a great value.

i used comic life because i had to make a card for my friend. instead of making one that has a cake and balloons i made it with pictures of her, and her friends! it was really cool because it wasnt actually a comic but it was a great layout to use!

A really clever and fun piece of software that our family has enjoyed. It is easy to use and the results make every one laugh. The people at Freeverse are true Mac software developers (we also love Wingnuts).

This software makes having fun on the computer easy. I was impressed by the amout of options you have and by the ease of use that came with the program. It is a great program and helps out when you need something cool fast.
