Slow
Written by MM from marietta
Mar 28, 2008
Got a brand new Mac, 2.8 gHz, 4 GB RAM. This game lags for nearly a minute with any move I try to make. It's horrible and frustrating. Maybe I will later decide its worth it, but I highly doubt that.

To many crashes
Written by AW from Leusden

Even after installing the patch this game kept crashing. I also tried to remove the whole game and reinstalled it. I even tried before starting up installing the patch. I like this game but this crashing issue made me give up playing it. Money down the drain..

What happened?

I have this for the PC also and it works better than on a 3GB RAM Macbook pro HUH??????!!!
The PC is running on 128RAM.... What is going on??
Ther game crashes often and i have owned it for about 5 hours.
The keyboard keys are do not register and need to be pressed 8 - 9 times before becoming recognized... It is slow and sluggish and this is running on the top of the range computer... Yet halo will run at the higest setting and there is no drop below 30fps.
I am disappointed and will think twice before buying a game again unless i can download a demo...
Pros;
Brilliant idea and gameplay...
Cons;
Does not work on Apple computers
DO NOT waste you money here

The main body of the game is too slow to enjoy. The interface is choppy at best, forget trying to use your itunes library the game just crashes.
Forget this one... find something else to entertain yourself until they remake it from scratch.27 of 43 people found this useful

It would be great, if it worked.

Even with the patch for intel macs to run this game program, it crashes. The game would be fun, if it weren't forever "quitting unexpectedly." Don't waste your money, unless you like to be frustrated by poor performance. Aspyr should have done a little more work to make this game ready for primetime. Instead, it seems they released it as quickly as they could to make their money without regard to customer satisfaction.

VERY disappointing!
Written by MB from Englewood

I have never, in all my years of computing, been this let down by a game. I was an avid RCT 1 & 2 player when i owned a PC. I bought my iMac G5 4 months ago, and was thrilled to recently hear that the new RTC3 would be put out for mac. I bought it TONIGHT, and after fooling around with it for about three hours, i have these three words...DO NOT PURCHASE! It has crashed twice, and when it stays working it feels like I'm running it on a computer from the stone-age. I'm sick to my stomach. $50 lost! I have a brand new Mac that WELL, and i mean WELL exceeds the requirements to run the game, yet it is unplayable. Do NOT take your chances!
