Bang & Olufsen Form 2 Headphones
Great
Written by VO from mississauga
Oct 11, 2009
These headphones are superb. They have the best soundquality of any headphones i have bought so far. Rich in highs and mids, a bit low on the bass, but not horrible. The only problem i have with these headphones is that the cord is particulary long. This creates a bit of a problem at the end where the cable and the input jack meet. At least for mine, it starts to pull apart. They have lasted me for 6 months so far, but im afraid soon im gonna have to replace them. I DO NOT regret buying them though.

Good Headphone From B&O
Written by HP from Pleasant Hill
Aug 18, 2009
Cool old-school style design. Even though everyone just focus on A8, we shouldn't ignore the beautiful sound comes from From 2.
The cons about Form 2 is that the cord is too thin and the plug is easy to break....Best solution is to change the cable and the plug.5 of 6 people found this useful

Balanced Design & Quality.
Written by WC from Toronto
Apr 18, 2009
After having the apple in-ear headphones for about three years, I felt the need to change headphones, and I found these and it was love at first sight.
They may look very delicate, but they're pretty durable and the sound is amazing, it's like rediscovering my entire music collection.
Two cons: not meant for very long-term use, as they tend to hurt after a while, and the bass isn't as strong as I'd like it to be, but that's passable with the level of quality in sound.10 of 10 people found this useful

AWESOME!!!
Written by AM from Jersey City

I have had these headphones for about a year and they are AMAZING! There is crystal clear quality! The only thing I don't like about these headphones is that the wire is extremely LONG!! Because of this, I usually leave them at home.

Solid sound, comfy fit
Written by WM from Dallas
Feb 10, 2009
These headphones deliver a nice quality sound. There's not a whole lot of bass, nor is it too tinny. The sound is flat and, I believe, perfectly balanced.
The fit is nice. Since they are lightweight, they are very comfortable. The cord is extremely long, which can be a pain. That's my only complaint. They could have opted for an extension.12 of 13 people found this useful

Superb!!
Written by VP from Salt Lake City

I have had A8 earphones since 2002 and I just bought these Form 2 headphones couple months ago. I didn't really want to buy them but once I tried them on, I suddenly felt the tempting feeling that urged me to buy them! I felt like if I didn't buy them, I'd die! The quality of the sound was soooooooooooooooooooooo much better than A8!! Like black and white! I'm not saying A8 is not good but I prefer Form 2. I think it depends on favour of each listerner. Form 2 can provide more base sound than A8. A8's sound is too clear and I prefer more base. Plus, it's much cheaper too! Only 1 con is they're not so convenient to carry around like A8.

Light weight enough for walking
Written by LS from Warren
Apr 27, 2008
While I'm not a high-power walker, I do my fair share of fast walking. These headphones are light-weight and much more comfortable than ear buds. I wouldn't use them for jogging; but they are acceptable for low impact workouts. I have a small head, so I don't have the fit problems some others may have. And, yes the cord is very long...takes up lots of pocket space when you're moving around with your ipod. Also, if you're using the headphones while lounging in the sun, the metal strap on the top of your head gets hot from the sun. As for the sound quality, it has a good clear bass level and is very acceptable for people who enjoy everyday basic music.

my hunt for the great white
Written by HD from portland
Nov 15, 2007
This get pretty good sound, but more importantly they're totally chic. My only complaint: why don't they come in white?? Shockingly as I flipped through a Vogue from earlier this year I saw them- in white! I don't know if they were custom done or a prototype or what- all I know is that Bang & Olufsen better release them.

i've finally found the one!
Written by OL from Trois-Rivieres

sorry for my bad english i live in Quebec so i speak french ;)
I'va found the best for the price headphones...!
And imagine what..they shortened the cord to about 4 feet...what a surprise...i was looking for the rest of the cord, thinking they gave me some "used" phones...lol
and for the sound...it's really good, i hear sound i never heard before, even with a Onkyo home theatre system with infinity speakers.
The soundstage is verry good, the basse are there but not invading, the mids are well defined and the high...do i need to say something about the high? ;)
in the end, if you're looking for the best quality headphones around 129$ (the price in canadian) 100$ US. don't look any further, you've found it!
(i give them a 4 because i was waiting for headphones with long cord 'cause i was looking to buy the A8's for the walk/bus thing...too bad i'll use them until a received my A8...)

The Name says it all, B&O
Written by PP from cambridge

There aren't many reviews available on the net about these phones, but I think that they sound great. BUT if you plan to use it with an Ipod, the wire may become a problem. its really long, meant more for a desktop setup. but this is a minor problem, something a smartwrap can easily solve. The wire is thick, which is good, It wont easily break like those lower end earphones. The Highs are crisp and mids are clear, Bass as well is amazing for a semi open headset. it also has that stand out style. definately cool. I'd recommend it to anyone. Enjoy

Good home/office headphone
Written by JW from Cary

For different reasons I purchased Bose QC2, Bose QC3, Ultimate Ears super.fi 5 Pro, B&O Form 2, Bose In Ear, V-Moda vibe. (in that order)
I ranked it with comment. This is just my personal opinion.
1. Ultimate Ears super.fi 5 Pro (+ best sound, comfort, base, fit, noise cancelling via tight seal; - hard to carry, fragile, rubbing noise when you run wit it) *If I can only own one this is it.
2. Bose QC3 (+great noise cancelling, sound quality, base; -gets hot around ear, weak battery life, need to carry a charger)
3. B&O A8 (+ clear sound, gorgeous form, comfort, durability, craftmanship; -ok base, no noise cancelling)
4. Bose QC2 (+same great bose sound quality, base: - ear gets REALLY hot, big and ugly design - I feel like a dork when I wear it)
5. Bose In ear (+adequate sound step up from apple, comfortable, convenient placement; -weak base)
6. B&O form 2 (+BO sound quality, decent base, style; - not very comfortable, not somthing you want to use it outside, not made for noise cancelling)
7. V-Moda vibe (+cheap; -not refined sound, gastly distorted base, ill fit in ears, waste of money, save money and keep the apple headphone)321 of 506 people found this useful

Amazing sound, ugly retro design which I love
Written by RC from Mamaroneck
Jan 18, 2007
I fell in love with these headphones from 15 feet away when I saw them at the Apple store, retro, ugly yet simple and slick. I was very skeptical at first until I put them on, they were extremely comfortable and the sound, my god the sound is amazing. I compared them to the Bose Triport and I gotta say these performed much better with the bass. I would highly recommend these to anybody out there looking for a new pair. Design wise they are genius very simple and different that would make a some people turn heads or ask you about them.

Sweet Sound/Swedish Style
Written by CC from Austin
Dec 25, 2006
These headphones were the highlight of my Christmas gifts. The sound is great. I'm hearing sounds I've never heard before from my other headphones. The bass is perfect - not overwhelming but definitely there. I listen to a lot of hip-hop so this was important to me. The styling is also amazing... retro, yet extremely sleek. My only complaint is the cord length... unbelievably long at 9.8ft. I could jump rope with this thing while listening to my music. Aside from that, I have no other complaints. Definitely worth a listen.

Amazing!!!
Written by AB from Brooklyn
Sep 25, 2006
I was at the Apple Store on 5th Ave last night looking to buy the "in-ear" phones. No stock...I looked around and came across these. They look the coolest so I gave em' a listen. OMG! It's a whole new world. As a musician and music lover, I couldn't believe I waited so long to get these. Great bass sound! Now I have the most stylish headphones on the L train. Yeah, the cord is long, but that will come in handy at home or for dj action. Buy these, you won't regret it. Also comes with a 1/4" adapter and 3 year warranty!

Cranius Maximus, Look Elsewhere
Written by BB from Los Angeles
Feb 20, 2006
Most of the pros and cons of these headphones have already been discussed. Great sound, long cord, etc. My only beef with them is that the headband isn't really too comfortable. I've got a larger-sized head and even on the largest adjustment the earpads don't fit properly on my ears without cutting into my head. So if you've got a small to medium sized heard, by all means, buy these headphones.

I'm Impressed
Written by EB from Cupertino
Dec 9, 2005
Wow. The first time I had put them on I was rather impressed. First thing you'll notice is how light they are. Second, the music that emanates encompasses a very surreal, rich, full, and dreamlike state. It's as if the earphones fills your head - and brain - with music. I feel like I'm SURROUNDED with all the instruments and vocals. I listen to House, Trance, and Progressive Dance music and these B & O's take them to another level. Well worth the money.
