Yay but...

I love this game, but when are we MAC players going to get the newest expansion packs. Like, Sims Nightlife. I just got it for my PC. but now that i have a MAC G5, i cant play it.

I really reccomend the sims2. It has great graphics and the creativity is unlimited! You can create punks,fat,beautiful and ugly people. Also the houses can be mansions or shacks!!! You can have babies or adopt. You can make a HUGE or a one person family. You should really buy it

This game is very exciting to play. It's not like the first Sims it has better graphics, better options I defenetly recommand this game to everyone.

i have found that this game is really hard to learn how to use. there are many controls actions and interactions that i haven't mastered after 2 weeks. i admit that this game is fun, especially creating the characters and messing around with them. if you have played sims 1 then i'm sure this will be the best game for you because it is so improved and has similar conttrols. i do not reccomend this for people who want a quick game, especially if you aare running on a G4 processor like me. it has loading times that are up to five mins. anyway get it if you have a G5 processor.

Fun Game but has major problems

I have a new 12 inch powerbook G4 and the game runs really slowly. everytime i play it it always freezes freezes and i have 768 mb of RAM a 64 mg video ram, 1.5 ghz processor and an 80 gb hard drive. I would just buy the regular sims.

Better than original..

While Sims 2 may be better than Sims 1, I expected to pay $50 for a game that ran smoothly. My iMac exceeds all system requirements, which really surprises me.

The expansions also need to be created for Mac. Dell Dimension 8400, Windows XP MCE '05 played the game a lot better, and the only difference between the iMac and Dell is the graphics card.. iMac=64mb Dell=256mb.

The sims is a great game and is perfect to make a second one.
Once i played it i could not stop.
This game should be number one...
well thats what i think.
Other people should enjoy this game and i mean it!

I was recovered Sims addict, but I was so dissapointed with this game that I didn't play it for a while and ended my addiction. It worked well on my dads powerbook but the performance was choppy and all together awful on my iBook.

had this game when i was on pc. and then, i got a mac. LOVE THE MAC. LOVE THE GAME. it loads REALLY QUICKLY and it doesnt crash, really fun to play. :-) really good

good game but there is a down side

I own a power book G4 12' 725memory, 60Gigs, and 1.5 GHz. I put the extra mony into my lap top just so i could play this game, accoriding to the recommended requirements. But it still does not work. So unless you have a desktop computer i would not recomend this game!

wow what a game its so like...exciting. if i could i would so give it like a kajillion stars!!!!!!! i also L-O-V-E the graphics they make the people sooooo much hotter and more real definitely buy this game if you love computers and all that electronic stuff i dont understand. whoops getting off topic! anyways totally but this, it could change your life. not that it changed mine or anything.

P.S. there is one guy thats like already made or something...his name is Drew and he is soooo hot

i loved this computer game by aspyr!! it was so much better that the original sims.. you can do so much more with you sims and it keeps your interest a lot longer..

This game is alot better than the 1st version, but if you have a slow computer, you should not get it, becasue the game would be all slow. My friend has a slow computer, and she said that runs horribly. Anyway, its a really great game and when i had a PC i loved it. I am soo happy that it came out for macs. have fun with it!! :)

This is the best PC game I've played since Starcraft. The graphics are crystal clear and the sims the seem to be as real as ever. I love the fact that they can reproduce. The only cons about this game is the items. There aren't many choices for items when buying and that the jobs aren't as varied as previous versions. You can't fix these problems, because the expansion packs for the Sims 2 haven't yet come out fot Mac. Also the game lags on any computer less than a G5. Otherwise, this game is worth the 50 bucks.
