Mac version is terrible

I have an intel-duo iMac and the game runs at such a slow frame rate that it is not worth playing. I have been playing Medal of Honor on a gaming PC for years and would have loved to use my mac to play it too. I will NEVER play this game. I have the PC version of MOH installed on my XP partition on my same iMac and I get outstanding frame rates.
Do not bother with this game if you have an intel machine. I think it works better on a PPC Mac, but still the PC version is better, sorry to say.21 of 43 people found this useful

I'd love to know what sort of equipment those two folks who gave this game a 5 star rating were running it on, (and who they work for).
The game runs poorly on my Intel-duo iMac, a computer which substantially exceeds the game's stated requirements.
It jerks and stutters it's way along, even at the lowest possible detail settings, to the point where it's just not entertaining to play.
My copy's going back tomorrow.

The truth of the matter is that this game still looks like a PlayStation One port, no matter how powerful your Apple is... glitchy and full of slow down. EA has failed to use the capabilities of the systems, and the gameplay is dated, having been completely eclipsed by the Call of Duty series... If you buy a WW II fps, skip this one and go directly to the Call of Duty (you won't be sorry).

No good for Imacs

Totally unsat for a 1.8 GHz imac that exceeds minimum requirements in every way. Jerky, poor mouse control - just no good. Does not come close to original single game performance. Loading takes 4-5 times longer than the original single games. Should be taken off the market for Macs. Mine is in the trash and a waste of $60.
