    Battery life....

    • Written by from Walnut Creek

The battery life on these headphones arent even close to being 20 hours. More like 4-5 hours max.

And you have to have battery when using a wire, which also drains the battery pretty fast!

Good sound, but will last you maybe a day if your lucky, charging every night.

Worth every cent! Best Headphones I've ever owned.

    • Written by from HUGHESTOWN

I've tried a lot of different types of headphones. These are by far the most comfortable, best sound quality and easiest to use wireless or wired headphones I've ever used or owned.
Worth every cent. Honestly I would've paid more for these, I'm happy they're priced where they are!

Debated for the longest about buying these headphones, 2 months after i purchased them the leather on the ear cup is coming apart. For the amount i paid i expected these to be high quality. They sound great but i regret buying them seeing that i could have had a few pairs of headphones for the price i paid for these..

    Outstanding!

    • Written by from Reno

Just when I thought I would not have something awesome to say about a basic pair of noise canceling headphones, I win these at work. Now I've heard other brands like Bose, and these outperform the Bose QuietComfort series hands down.
Only area of improvement is the noise canceling feature. Bose has a slightly higher cancellation rate, but these also adjust to noise factors around them. So, you'll notice more noise canceling, in my opinion when there is louder content around you while wearing them.

Enjoy the sound and the experience.

So close to perfect it's a little sad!

    • Written by from Apison

I was skeptical about Beats after listening to the older "boomy" models but after sampling the Studio Wireless at different Apple Stores I started to come around. While vacationing in DC, I grabbed these in Matte Black at the Georgetown store.

My wife has Bose QC25s so it was fun to compare the two and fully expected the Bose to win but WOW, in overall sound the Beats sound better. I was shocked! The highs are brighter and the lows are way better. An example is Pittbull and Marc Anthony's "Rain Over Me." During Marc Anthony's main riff a huge bass roll drops from a low to almost sub-sonic in the first two seconds of the song. With the Bose on, the bass fades as it bottoms out. They just can't handle the low frequency. The Beats easily handle the bass but retain all high and mid tones. That's a real accomplishment.

When it comes to noise canceling, the Bose win hands down, no contest. Bose invented ANR, patented the *bleep* out of it and no one comes close. I got to do a side-by-side comparison on the plane ride home from DC and my wife's Bose shamed the Beats in noise cancellation.

I like Bose's battery vs. Beats recharge system too. You can always find a battery. Also, the Beats egg-shaped case is a pain! And why no cord pockets? Come on! The Beats comes with three cords!

The best sound around and I'm glad I bought them but they totally lack effective ANR, the odd-shaped case is a pain to pack in a messenger bag, the lack of cord pockets are minuses. So close Beats! Maybe Jony Ive will help Beats get the details right.

    The BEST!!!

    • Written by from Bellevue

In fear of sounding like a "Beats Fanboy", I have to say I have no regrets in buying these. Yes, they were expensive but "I" personally have not had any issue with them. No, I'm not a "Sound Expert" nor do I have any certification in the speaker industry so feel free to take what I think of them as grain of Salt but from an average consumer, these are the best. Bose focuses on crisp and clear vocals which is fine depending on what kind of music you listen to. But I like bass in my music. Some have complained of "fraying" in the soft ear cups but I haven't experienced that yet. Basically, treat the headphones as they were meant to be treated: listening to music, watching videos, etc. and you'll be very happy with them. I already own the Powerbeats 2 Wireless and I use them at the gym all the time and have had no problems with them. Some say they're expensive and they are but you get exactly what you pay for.

    Beats Studio Wireless

    • Written by from St. Thomas

I purchased the Beats Studio Wireless at my local Best Buy. While I love the fact they come with a rechargeable battery, are wireless and have bluetooth cability, they do hiss a lot, the top of the hand band hurts my head. These are both changes that Beats needs to implement.

I was much more impressed with my returned Bose c25 purchase and I would have kept them if they were wireless.

Wonderful Product, got it as a present and it was just so beautiful. I checked out the VERY expensive beat for the DJ's and pros but it's not worth the money. My dad loved them too when he was listening to classical music. I totally recommend these beat studios to everyone. Take my word for it!! Great products thanks sooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!

    Absolutely Amazing!!

    • Written by from Houston

At first, I was pretty sceptical about buying a pair of beats because of all the horrendous reviews I've read online, but I was so blown away by the quality. I really enjoy the wireless feature because now i don't have to worry about all the hassles cords come with. But the great thing about the wireless studios is that it also comes with wires just in case you want to preserve battery life or if you're having trouble connecting to a device with bluetooth. The sound is awesome and never any interference! When i heard they came out with the matte black, I had to get myself a pair.

Just an ordinary sound with an amazing look.

    • Written by from Dallas

These headphones are just regular sound quality and they are not as special as everyone says. they are very cool looking but I get better bass in a 20 dollar pair of skullcandys and I am going to return my beats today because 411 dollars for some headphones with a cool look is not worth it.

    Insanely Good

    • Written by from Thornhill

Do not listen to all the people claiming that you're paying 400$ for the name...these headphones are incredible. Oh, sorry I'm not an audio technician and can't notice certain things here and there. Obviously, the quality/clarity will be slightly better with Bose or Parrot. However, the overall sound is great and the bass and clarity is phenomenal. If you want to invest in solid wireless headphones (especially for the gym,) you can not go wrong grabbing a pair of these. (if you listen to EDM or Metal/Harcore music...eargasms galore)

    Best headphones on the market.

    • Written by from TROY

I will start off and say I at first didn't want to buy these as I was like "Oh Dr. Dre just wants to have more money." But my thoughts have changed. I have to say I have been a Beats owner for about 2 weeks so far. I bought the Studio Wireless as I wanted no wires while I work and also I don't like things sitting my ear. And these have been by far the best headphones ever. I don't think I could ever go back to normal ones. Great buy and great product.

    HONEST REVIEW

    • Written by from Wilmington

Okay, this is going to be an honest review to the new generation of Wireless Beats Studio Headphones by Dr. Dre. Let's start with the positives. The headphones are great: very durable (solid build quality, unlike previous generation), great sound quality (will touch on this later), wireless functionality is always a positive, and last they're great overall. Okay, the negatives: Battery Life, they are listed to have a 12 hour battery life through Bluetooth and 20 on "stand-by" mode, well, unless mine are broken, I rarely have that battery life, ever. One second my headphones will be at full battery then an hour or 2 later they'll drop to 3 bars (5 bar max). But here's the kicker, if you don't use them, the battery still drains, at least mine do, which is really frustrating. Second, overall comfort is amazing. BUT, if you wear prescription glasses like myself, after 30 or so minutes, the headphones do become uncomfortable and require me to take them off. Last, sound quality. Beats reputation is built around sound quality and these headphones don't disappoint....except when you use them in wireless mode. Streaming music over Bluetooth obviously will dampen sound quality, but I found better sound quality by just using one of the two wires that come with the headphones. It's not a huge problem, but for me, at times it would really ruin the experience. I know this review is kind of lengthy, but this is a big purchase and so I want people to be aware of some minor problems that could leave a major impact. I hope this helped out, thank you for your time.

    Sound delay!!!!!

    • Written by from Baton Rouge

The sound quality is really good, i just have one MAJOR issue and thats the fact that there is a sound delay. For 380$ theres shouldn't be one. you cannot watch anything, it is really distracting because it can very to very slight to as noticeable as 2 seconds! This problem is resolves by plugging in but then why are you buy a pair of wireless headphones? I think most people don't have an issue because they are only using them to listen to music and they sound great. Its unfortunate because Apple does not tolerate these basic flaws. It does not "just work." If you can get passed that they are great. Also there is a noticeable difference between the volume limits when wired or wireless. I can't believe more people have not noticed these things.

I got these headphones on a trip to the US. I was slightly hesitant to buy them originally because of the price but when I bought them they were amazing. Amazing sound quality, amazing style and comfort and the sound Cancelling is in a league of its own. Brilliant for anything; from Flights to home use, these headphones are for everyone and are all round outstanding.
