    Replacement Sleeves/Tips

These headphones rival the best out of the box. However, if your looking for replacement sleeves/tips, Sure EA306 Triple Flange Sleeves will only make them better. They can be purchased for less than $10 and you get three sets. For those with complaints, I encourage you to give these a whirl. I did make a slight modification to fit my ears by cutting off the smallest flange, thereby leaving two flanges.

These are still my go-to in-ear headphones. I hear the music in very crisp, clear tones, not muffled like so many of the VERY EXPENSIVE in-ear and over-ear headphones I have purchased. I also do a lot of dictation, and the quality of these earphones is so far above, yes, the expensive ones.

I got these as a Christmas gift 2009, well they're still going strong. The mic doesn't work but I don't even use it anyways. These ear buds have been through A LOT, I've probably washed them in the washer like 5 times and have been through the dryer twice. Still sound as good as they day I unwrapped them, and the inline volume and music controls still work. But with their age they are beginning to fall apart a little, but for the 80$ we paid, I'd say they were well spent.

I've had these headphones for over a year now and they still work great even after going through the wash. They fit in my ears better than the iPhone 4 or iPhone 5 standard headphones, and stay put very well while I'm running

    Good with aftermarket foam tips

I'm not a big fan of default silicone tips, but large aftermarket foam tips are just perfect. I'd rate these headphones on par with dynamic HiFiMan RE-262, and a remote/mic is a nice bonus. Used extensively with HM602/Cowon D2/Macbook Pro/iPad 2-3 etc. Sound is somewhat similar to Audio Technica EM-9r.

Price/Performance ratio - well above average, especially compared to high-end IEM earphones.

A big minus is a flimsy remote/mic part and cable not being rigid enough. That's compensated by insanely good Apple service in US/UK/Ireland and their replacement policies in those countries.

    Good, but not impressive quality

Most people complain about the seal that the eartips fail to deliver, for not being soft enough or not having the right size. For me, these are almost perfect; when I run, eat of sleep, the seal holds pretty good.

The headphones alone compete with others, which can cost up to 150$, but with the right eartips, if these do not fit you, you should get the best sound out of these.
I bought some foam eartips that improved the quality drastically. I recommend buying them.

Excellent price for earphones with two drivers

It is difficult to find earphones of this quality for the price especially with a microphone. The trick is to choose the correct ear tip to get a good seal in the ear. If the seal is poor, the bass will be reduced. With a good seal the sound and noise isolation is quite good.
