Great but flimsy as time goes by.

Works great but the two layers right at the hole are splitting apart after 7 or 8 months. Only one of the 2 layers still attaches. I keep putting the second layer back on. I'll order another one as nothing else fits so well and it is an i Pod lifesaver. One of those times I feel Apple dropped the ball a little but Mac is so great in general that I'll tolerate it. I'd try to glue the 2 layers together with a flexible leather glue but I don't want to have to go buy a tube of this type glue just for this.

    Its good.

It's a good product and it serves it's purpose but it wouldn't be worth it to pay $9 for it.

    Short life

If you place the lanyard on when its new and never remove it, then it would merit an additional star. As time goes on, the quickly-aging lanyard becomes more difficult to reattach. As others have noted, the end that attaches in time splits into two layers making it useless. The strap quickly takes on the characteristics of an aged rubber band. I'm currently searching for a more reliable substitute.

    Flimsy and Fragile

    • Written by from New Castle

After only 3 days the loop started to split. On the fourth day it slipped off and caused my brand new iPod Touch to fall to the pavement and chip the back in two spots. I'm lucky that that's all the damage there was. I'm shocked that the loop broke so easily from doing what it was designed to do. I expect better from Apple and I'm very dissapointed in them after seeing this products performence.

    Really Sad :(

    • Written by from smang beach

I bought this for my son because he kept dropping his iPod touch!!!! So I thought, what a great solution!!! BUT I WAS WRONG! He was playing outside with the cat and I really thought he wouldn't drop it but he did. I wasn't there but he told me it just fell off??? Why would it just fall off, right??? Well anyway long story short we had to take the cat to the vet. My son is O. K. but he is very sad that he dropped his iPod touch once again. Please don't buy this product if you have a 20 year old son or a cat. Or an iPod touch that you DON'T want to drop on the ground. Please keep your family safe! Like the blue color. But this is not a secure loop.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I've had mine since the 5 came out and it's still "perfect" . I always use it when I am in camera mode so that I don't slip and drop it. I use it grocery shopping while I use reminders to check off the groceries I buy. The loop has saved me many times over when I was bumped and did not lose the touch to a fall because I had the loop on my wrist. I use it when I exercise. Whenever I take it out of my pocket I immediately slip the loop over my wrist and this prevents me from leaving it somewhere because where I go my touch goes with me. If it should ever wear out I will definitely purchase another one. I wish they had one for the iPhone 6+ as I often hear that someone was afraid of dropping it as it is so slippery without a case and this would prevent it from falling.
