    best I've used

    An xlnt charger, best I've used so far. Took overseas, worked great.
    Faster charging than others I've used, xlnt for simultaneous charging of multiple devices.

    Fast charge for iPad mini and iPod Touch!

    I love this charger. My iDevices came with the 5W USB power adapter. i picked this up for the folding prongs. So glad I did. Everything charges so fast. Well worth $19 for the convenience. I plan to pick up an extra to keep in my car.

    Why the short cord?

    The charger works great, it charged my iPad and iPhone super fast but I cannot understand why on earth the cord is so short. With such great products it just seems ridiculous to go cheap on something this basic. At the very least apple should have a longer cord as an accessory option.

    The adapter that came with my iPad disappeared and I was not going to keep charging it on the wall charger for my phone or on my mac. I broke down and purchased it and I am glad I did. I charge all my device with it cuts down on the charge time.

    Fast charge, but no cable included!

    It charges fast after I finally got a cable to charge my phone. The previous chargers I had bought from apple came with cables. I would recommend this over the smaller chargers if you need a quick charge. I can get nearly a full charge on my phone in an hour with this.

    Everything about it rocks

    First of all, I bought this for my old 3GS I had to give life to. I was tired of charging it near my computer and needed a new source. This charger is made for the retina iPads and new iPhones/iPods that it requires it to push a little harder. So what does it do on old devices? It works a lot better than the 5W or 10W chargers... instant plus.

    Second the size is great. It fits in the palm of my hand, and even though it is a little bigger than the 5W, does it really matter, the ac prongs can be tilted in a 90 degree angle, unlike the 5w charger.

    And lastly, they both cost the same, and this one gives your device almost twice the speed of charging than the 5W, do yourself a favor and choose this one over all the other ones because it works with all of the iDevices Apple has ever made.*

    Add-on cord is too short and no option available

    No actual cord is included. You need a separate purchase.

    The cords available are so short that they're barely functional to reach from my desk to the outlet. To use the iPad away from your desk while charging, plan on sitting on the floor near the outlet.

    This product sorely needs an extension.
    (The previous charger adapter that had an excellent three prong extension attached has been discontinued (duh!). I have one and it's so useful I wanted another. No luck.)

    This product is another example of form over function and the misconception that minimalism equals simplicity.

    chargers ipod touch fast :)

    it does no bueno that it doesn't come with the cord but all apple products come with the necessary cords so people don't need or shouldn't have to pay for them together. its uglier then the 5w but it handles twice as fast and seeing as I don't care (that much) how slim my charger is I got the big one and its awesome :)

    This works best

    I have a bunch of other power adapters, they have generally all failed, and all my electronics run on filtered power. This adapter has been my mainstay. For those of you who think that the unit is too big, try a power strip, fits behind my desk easily. I also have one at work, which fits under my desk nicely. Charges fast, this is the best I've ever found. I also use this to power USB hubs and my Raspberry Pi. I have about 4 of these now.

    Does Not Contain the Cord

    This does not contain the cord to attach to your iPad, and as such is completely useless. The description and Q&A on this website is ambiguous - but the cord is an additional cost. I ordered in confidence that it would "just work" like Apple products are supposed to.

    Stick out too far

    This adapter sticks out about 2 inches from the wall when the USD is connected, therefore, you can't put it behind furniture. Very disappointed!!!! You can tell an intern must have designed the adapter.

    Very compact design, does what it should do, but the cable could be longer.

    The body of the charger is compact enough to fit into the outlet without hogging up the space that is needed for other neighboring plugs to fit properly in their place. The prong that connects to the lightning port of the iPad is symmetrical, making the user not have to ascertain which way it connects. Another minor pro would be that the color of the cord is white; allowing it to be very easy to see if when the cord slips accidentally behind or below furniture in a dark place that is surrounded with other dark cords. However the length of the cable is a little less than what I need when I am charging it and using my ipad at my desk. With all of this mind, it quite simply gets the job done.

    Compact, light, works well

    This came with my iPad 4th Generation and it works just as expected. It's the same size as the previous 10W adapter but charges more quickly. I can tell you that this does charge the iPhone much faster than the 5W adapter that the iPhone comes with.

    What else is there to say? It works and looks great.
