    Fantastic

Oh man, compared to the old ear buds these are out of this world! The sound quality is fantastic and they don't feel like they're going to fall out constantly. Great product!

    remote too insensitive

    • Written by from Mississauga

the sound of the earpods are great and the size is perfect for my ears. but the remote is so not sensitive that every time i try to turn up or turn down the volume or change the song i have to press VERY hard for it to sense me. and sometimes even when i press very hard it still doesn't work. i dont know if every earpod has this problem or just mine. but i think a product of apple should never be so dull like this.

    Excellent sound

    • Written by from Glasgow

These headphones are amazing, they provide a really good sound for all genres of music. The bass is really good and higher notes also come through well, providing a rich sound. I also like that these headphones are really easy to keep clean. The reason why these headphones only receive 4 stars and not 5 is because the left earpod tends to fall out when I am walking, but that might just be might my ears..

    A Vast Improvement

    • Written by from Portland

I am a tone-freak studio and performing musician. Based upon my past experiences with the stock headphones from my previous iPod and iPhone products, I had very low expectations when I upgraded my iPhone. I gave these headphones a try when I forgot my other triple-the-price in-ear headphones at home one day.

Man, was I surprised - these things have amazing sound quality, especially for the price. Sparkling highs. Tight lows. Decidedly non-wonky mids. They really preserve the dimensionality, clarity and *character* of the original recordings, be it baroque chamber music, Coltrane, Public Enemy or Ozzy.

If you've been making do with Apple's old stock headphones, do yourself a favor and spend the $30 to upgrade today. You'll be amazed at what you've been missing.

    Junk...

    • Written by from BALL GROUND

I can't believe I am giving Apple a bad review but these headphones are awful! It feels like I have earplugs with noise in my ears. The sound is very muffled too. Doesn't really compare to the old headphones.

Theses are good headphones but they are too delicate. I went through like 3 pairs already.

    Just fantastic

    • Written by from Riverview

Ok these are amazing. I have a set of Bose SIE2i and Beats studios I like these the most. The Bose crackles on certain bass levels and the Beats just crackle period and requires batteries. These are small with a lot of bass. Oh and I accidentally washed the several times and they still work like brand new.

    Great for running

    • Written by from Phoenix

I run with these on my ipod shuffle and iphone 5. The mic and controls on the cord are wonderful. The pods don't fall out and the quality is amazing.

I have deep ear canals and they fit me great. Love them.

I have had to replace these at least 4 times. The left bud always ends up feeling bigger then the right and hurts. The sound also becomes muzzley.

    Out of the water!

    • Written by from Eagle River

These came with my iPod touch 5th gen back in December 2012 and after reading reviews that said they were awful, uncomfortable, etc. I decided to sell them instead without even trying them out. Well, they sat in the box till now, and I decided why not try em out? I'm now writing this review with my Earpods in and I'm loving them! The sound, and bass is a huge step up from what I'm used to! Apple did an excellent job in designing these. The cord is smooth and almost silky. Cool, great sound, clean design, superb sound! Bottom line: Buy these, see if these are "THE ONES"

Boy, was I ticked off !!!!!!

    • Written by from Evansville

Just got a 4s and the OEM earbuds that shipped with it were atrocious !! A pop/crack at higher volumes had me pursuing a warranty claim from Apple and I received the EarPods as my warranty replacements.

I am one happy camper now! The Classic R&R Soul is now being fed quite nicely.

I love these things. THANK YOU APPLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Incredible

    • Written by from Wexford

I believe Apple marketed these as comparable to headphones costing "hundreds of dollars more." I wouldn't go that far - my Sennheiser iE80's ($450), JVC FX-700's ($400), and Ultrasone Pro 750's ($450) completely destroy these buds.

However, these are bundled free with iOS devices or cost $30. They come with an inline mic. They look and feel great. For the money, you couldn't do much better. Sure, the bass might be a bit muddy and the treble and mids a bit recessed, but they're overall vastly improved from the original Apple Earbuds.

Mac Ear Pods on other non Mac products.

    • Written by from Spring hill

I bought this to use with my new ipad! Works great. like the quality and able to chat when on a call or facetiming.
One thing to keep in mind, I have a droid phone and these do not work when in call on the droid phones. I'm seeing this only works with mac products only for some reason.
You can listen to music but that's it. Don't expect them to be in a phone call, no one can hear you. You can hear them, but mic is turned off when these are plugged in the headphone jack.

But for mac products, headphones work great!

No different than the first ones

    • Written by from Garner

As far as sound quality, it's decent no different than the first pair. If you leave them in your ear for a while they start hurting, I thought that was suppose to be what these earbuds were suppose to eliminate. Other than that these earbuds are like any other pair on the market

    Uncomfortable and too much Bass

    • Written by from Philadelphia

    Dear Apple,

Please, give us the option to buy the headphones that came with the iPhone 4S. The new headphone do not fit everyone's ears. And the bass is way too loud.

Just please consider allowing us to buy the old ones.

    The beats are great!

    • Written by from Ulysses

The sound of these earpods are absolutely impressive. The bass hits clear and hard. They treble is crystal clear, and the two together make for great sounding music.

Such an improvement from the last pair! These actually fit in my ear and don't make me uncomfortable. I can actually forget their there if their not on. Love em, especially for the price!!

    Keep Falling Down

    • Written by from Calgary

The sound quality was awesome,But they are keep falling down and they hurts my ears after wearing it for a longtime of period. For a person who loves music so much hates it when you can't listen to music because of the pain of your ear.
