    Disappointment

    • Written by from Moose Factory

Thought I was really getting something special when I bought myself a pair of these. Total disappointment as they are the most uncomfortable EarPods I have ever used. As for noise reduction - no such thing!

    Great Headphones

    • Written by from Webster

These are definitely a step up from Apple's older headphones. They are nicely shaped, although a bit big for my ear. They cancel noise well. Overall, for the price, they are very good. Durable, definitely not flimsy or "cheap".

    Awful

    • Written by from Jonesborough

With every single Iphone or Ipod I have bought comes a pair of cheap ear buds and these are no different. They sound great if you can get them to stay in your ears, good luck with that. These would be a thousand times better if they had just a little bit of grip to them so they could stay in place. Come on Apple be a better company, I know you can afford to provide a better product. One star only cause I had too.

    Better than the klipsh s4ii

    • Written by from Atlanta

I bought the klipsch s4ii, and these are better. Not sure what ''muddy" bass people are talking about. These are great and i cannot believe they are $30!

    Most Comfortable

    • Written by from Toronto

These headphones have amazing sound quality. The best part thought isn't the sound , its the comfort level. There so comfortable, I forget there in my ears then I realize where the sound is coming from. They're so comfortable, its unreal!

    Nothing to Special

    • Written by from Mechanicsville

This pair of EarPods were ok. I loved the shape and fit. They stayed in my ears great, but after less than a year, the sound in the left ear went out. I always got the cheaper earbuds because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on them, but the sound in one ear always went out pretty fast. I decided to "splurge" and get these, and I loved them....then the sound went out in one ear....just like the cheap ones. I'm really disappointed and out $30.

Good sound, but don't stay in ear

    • Written by from Biloxi

These ear phones sound pretty good, no real complaints. However, I wear these when I work out and they do not stay in my ear very well. That is my only use for these headphones.

    Technical Issue

    • Written by from Toronto

The sound is absolutely fantastic, but I seem to be having problems with the remote buttons. The "play/pause" button works just fine, but the volume buttons don't. Now I've only tried it with my new 5s but I would think that should be the last of the problems...any ideas...?

hmm? depends what you compare it to

    • Written by from Minden

If I were to compare these to the free ones you get on airplanes these are better than Amazing but if I were to compare them to a professional headset they wouldn't be as good but I would have to say these have decent quality sound no matter what you have used in the past

    These are awesome!!

    • Written by from Kenora

These headphones are flippin' great! You'll love them, they not only fit great in your ears but the overall sound they produce from your music is much more full and sounds HD (if that makes any sense). I love my pair of EarPods, much better than my old earbuds hands down. I also believe that the cord on them is longer as well, making them more suitable for jogging, working out, and walking with your device in your pocket.

Beware: Apple recently changed the cable material

    • Written by from San Francisco

A couple of weeks ago I needed to replace the EarPods I received with my iPhone 5 last year. Nothing wrong with them, they were lost during a trip. So I picked up a new pair of EarPods at an Apple Store in San Francisco. Unfortunately, the new ones have a different cable: the insulation isn't "rubbery" and flexible like the original matte gray cable found on the original EarPods. Instead, the new EarPods have a shiny white insulation that isn't as flexible and instead of coiling up nicely like the old ones, the stiffness of the new ones means they stay a mess as they retain their shape. In short: they feel cheap, like the kind of headphones you can pickup just about anywhere for $10. Very disappointed.

    Awesome, but break easily.

    • Written by from Wilmington

These are a great fit in my ears and the sound quality is awesome! However, mine broke after just four months. I use them at least five times a week when I go running and sometimes in the car if I'm talking on the phone and don't want to use my hands. I was very careful and always kept them stored neatly, and away from moisture when they weren't being used. I don't know why they broke, but I'm bummed they did! Loved them.

Oh man, compared to the old ear buds these are out of this world! The sound quality is fantastic and they don't feel like they're going to fall out constantly. Great product!

    remote too insensitive

    • Written by from Mississauga

the sound of the earpods are great and the size is perfect for my ears. but the remote is so not sensitive that every time i try to turn up or turn down the volume or change the song i have to press VERY hard for it to sense me. and sometimes even when i press very hard it still doesn't work. i dont know if every earpod has this problem or just mine. but i think a product of apple should never be so dull like this.

    Excellent sound

    • Written by from Glasgow

These headphones are amazing, they provide a really good sound for all genres of music. The bass is really good and higher notes also come through well, providing a rich sound. I also like that these headphones are really easy to keep clean. The reason why these headphones only receive 4 stars and not 5 is because the left earpod tends to fall out when I am walking, but that might just be might my ears..

    A Vast Improvement

    • Written by from Portland

I am a tone-freak studio and performing musician. Based upon my past experiences with the stock headphones from my previous iPod and iPhone products, I had very low expectations when I upgraded my iPhone. I gave these headphones a try when I forgot my other triple-the-price in-ear headphones at home one day.

Man, was I surprised - these things have amazing sound quality, especially for the price. Sparkling highs. Tight lows. Decidedly non-wonky mids. They really preserve the dimensionality, clarity and *character* of the original recordings, be it baroque chamber music, Coltrane, Public Enemy or Ozzy.

If you've been making do with Apple's old stock headphones, do yourself a favor and spend the $30 to upgrade today. You'll be amazed at what you've been missing.

    Junk...

    • Written by from BALL GROUND

I can't believe I am giving Apple a bad review but these headphones are awful! It feels like I have earplugs with noise in my ears. The sound is very muffled too. Doesn't really compare to the old headphones.
