The sound is good, but they not stay in place...!

Possibly the most fragile earbuds made by man. Don't scoff I purchased 2 sets and I don't have kids or pets, and I'm now forced to use my old head set. On the upside while they lasted they were comfortable.

If your intentions are to purchase the most comfortable headset - this is the one for you; well, maybe me.
This is what I like:
Compared to the silicone tips which lock air into my ear canal and muffle all sounds around me which makes me speak louder than I should - this headset offers a natural feel as it rests in my ear and allows all the sound in the room to be heard.
The sole purpose of the headset for my use is in an office atmosphere for business purposes - they are not used for music and I couldn't tell you how they compare to other headsets for listening to music.
If you are looking for a voice and mic headset with great controls - this is the best apple has made and I can wear these all day - but I don't because they are easily removed and placed in my ear when the next call comes in.

These earphones are literally my life. They make music sound perfect and can go really loud. They fit in my ear well and the mic works good too. I recomend these to everyone they are a life saver. Honestly i would pay more than $30 for these.

These earpods are no better than the previous ones. In fact because they're a little heavier they fall out of my ears even easier! The sound may be better but if they won't stay in your ears what good is that? Another 30 bucks down the drain!

These 'earpods' sound like $2.00 headphones. They are painful to wear and they do not fit well.. You are wasting your money building them. These need to be a more traditional style earphone with a rubber or preferably foam tip. The drivers only push out vocals and treble. I may not be a sound engineer but I sure could design a better set of headphones than this. I guess to expect a quality headset to come with an $800 iPhone 5 is too much to ask isn't it?

Thought they looked like they'd fit better than the old style. They appear to for most users. However, after a weeks use at about an hour per day, I'd have to say they are the most ill fitting and painful earbuds I have ever owned. After the first day I assumed perhaps I needed to get used to them. This gradual use has only made matters worse. Now I cannot even wear my old earbuds. I've given them to my daughter with a warning. Hopefully she can wear them.

They hurt your ears and never stay in. The sounds isn't good either. I expect more from Apple. I have a lot of apple devices but I'm not happy with these at all.
