Reviews for Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic

These ear buds sound great, and I havnt had any problems with them falling out. But they are uncomfortable. The mini speaker on the flat side of the buds are terrible. The edges of them are sharp and they have actually scratched the inside of my ear and drew blood because of the sharp edge on the side. Apple should have made the edge of that side speaker beveled or something. Apple should invest in making ear buds with the soft interchangeable ear bud sizes that would be fantastic.

I am really happy with the Apple EarPods. That sound is much better than any other headphone I have had. I can't use in-ear headphones because they are uncomfortable and frankly I think it's disgusting. I was a little worried that these would pop out of my ear when running but they stay in place perfect even when I am at a full out sprint. I could not recommend them more.

They were great headphones until they broke off IN MY IPHONE! Be VERY CAREFUL WITH THEM!

These earpods are TERRIBLE. They don't stay in your ears at all. It doesn't matter how you put them in they pop out. They don't stay in when you are sitting still but are even worse when moving around. I put earmuffs and a hat over them and they still came out. There is no point in having these if they don't stay in. They aren't one bit comfortable. Don't waste your money on these earpods. They are expensive for something that doesn't work. I wouldn't have given them one star but they wouldn't let me submit the review without one.

The old Apple earbuds have never worked for me; won't stay in my ears. I always thought it was me and was gratified to hear I'm not alone here. Had to buy some clunky over the ear headphones which worked, but not ideal...

These new ones? The bomb diggity! Stay in my ears comfortably, sound is FANTASTIC! And also I can take my iPhone to bed with me and listen to stuff after my hub is asleep and shift all around cause they are so comfortable and flat against my head.

Want to stay home from work and listen to stuff on my phone all day now! Probably can't call in 'got fab new ear phones and need to stay home and enjoy them' though.

Being that my lab partner of the past two years, initially made a connection off the strength of having the same Mac Pros, I can say whole heartily that I trust his just judgment, but even I was hesitant when he said that these pods, where on par with his $100+ Bose.

Being that I'm really particular about sound, so much so that I own a $250 pair just for gaming, still after seeing how happy he was i wanted in. Picked them up today and after getting past the difficult packaging they slide gently in my ear, and I was surprised at what was coming thorough these small, comfortable, but hard shelled pods. Really nice bass, and lows, highs a little lacking but really happy with the product.

Great Job Apple, you amaze once again, with your Engineering and style!

They really do work much better than the last apple ear buds I used, and now I don't have to turn the volume all the way up to get the full sound. I had no idea what I was missing, and I would recommend these to anyone who has the older model

My only complaint is that the wires coming out of (and going into) the volume control have little edges that snag on the collar of my dress shirts when I turn my head to the right.

These headphones came my iPhone 5 and they are really good! The sound is very clear and the bass sounds and feels good. I own Beats by Dr. Dre and I could say that these are almost just as good. They are worth the price!

I'm not an audiophile, but I find these earpods to have a much higher quality sound than the Apple earphones they replaced. They fit in my ears securely, never falling out during my runs or other exercise routines. There may be better units available at this price point, but none I've seen have the unique shape of the earpods. I do not like the kind that fit inside my ear canal. They never stay put and I have sanitary concerns. The kind that fit over or around my ears are too bulky and cause sweating during workouts.
If you're interested in these I suggest buying direct from Apple so you can rest assured your not buying one of the many clever knockoffs out there. It's worth the money for peace of mind.

I gave it 2 Star for Great sound they produce in their price rang. But what good is the sound if they don’t stay in your ear for a second. Apple claims that they researched on hundreds of ears to come up with this design, but I would say that it all went to waste. Maybe they should have scanned my ears too. Don’t get me wrong though I have perfectly normal ears it the earphone that looks weird.
