    Does not fit women's ears!

    • Written by from Bay City

I couldn't stand the previous version of apple's earbuds, was excited when I got the new style with my iPhone 5s yesterday. I was impressed by the packaging of the earbuds, thinking how convient this would be to keep in my purse, and impressed at the sound quality. They are too big for my ears, no matter if I keep my face totally still and sitting on the couch they fall out, they fall out walking around the house, there is no way to get them to stay. I'll stick with my Yurbuds which have a similar shape but actually fit women's ears, and have adjustable sizers.

    The mic won't last

    • Written by from Fort Worth

Less than six months in the mic is broken. I can hear sounds, but can't control volume, etc., and no one can hear me. I tried blowing every crevice out with canned air. No lint in the port, either. And what everyone else said about discomfort and earaches. They better replace them or I'm gonna get temperamental.

    Very uncomfortable

    • Written by from Philadelphia

Most painful earbuds I've ever owned. They don't fit properly and are too large. Another failed attempt by apple to change something that was already designed well.

    A Pox on this Garbage!

    • Written by from Naples

    I hate these things.

I hate them, hate them, HATE THEM.

After my decent (for the price) earbuds died in a horrible dancing-chimp incident, I endeavored to replace them once I regained the use of my kegs. The old style being unavailable, I ended up almost wasting 30-something bucks on these, but decided to shoplift them instead.

The sound is awful. The bass pounds my head unless I have the volume at the very minimum, and even then all I can hear is that dåmned thumping. The treble and mid-range are completely drowned out on this aural aberration, yet everyone praises the sound quality?!

Is "dat bass" all you bacon-flakes care about anymore? What about Bob? Whatever happened to Robot Jones? Who am I? Does my shirt even exist? Bottom line, these things are bad. They make me wanna go out and set things on fire. Normally, I just wanna burn things in the comfort of my own home.

If Sonic the Hedgehog taught us anything, it's this: "You're too slow!"

Come on Apple, step it up.

    Good sound terrible fit

They have great sound but they don't fit worth a dam. Keep the earbud and lower the price of the phone by $35.

    Don't like them

    • Written by from Whitehorse

These EarPods must have been designed by a man and never tested on women. They are way too big which make them fall out easily and are very uncomfortable to wear. Definately not fit for smaller ears. I gave them away to a male friend of mine, he absolutely loves them. I wish I felt the same about it :(

    Good until...

They were good... Until I could only hear in one ear. Within months of listening my headphones broke. Now I only have 1 ear to listen with

    Good sound, terrible fit

    • Written by from Federal Way

While the sound quality is fantastic, that's a completely useless feature when I can't keep them in my ears. If I stay absolutely still, not even swallowing, I can keep them in for more than a minute. Otherwise, I can't get them to stay in my ears at all unless I grind them so far into my ear I think they're touching my brain. Completely useless product for me

    • Written by from Brisbane

bought this and the quality of the sound and the design is great but lasts for 3 months because one of the earpods lost sound and got it replaced and now my second set is completly dead. ive replace 2 sets for the passed 3 to 4 months.

my Sony earphones lasts longer and got it for $8

very pricey for $40 at the apple store, you can find it cheaper for $20 to $30 at JB or Kiosk

    Broke after 3 days

    • Written by from Visoko pri Poljanah

When I got them i was very happy. but as soon as i tried to put them in my ear i found out that they don't fit. They constantly fall out. Because I didn't have any other earphones at the time i used them the first days but the left earphone stopped working. It randomly turned on sometimes but stopped quickly. I must say I'm dissapointed.

    They don't fit

    • Written by from Southfield

I upgraded my 4s to a 5s and these came in the packaging. Before I upgraded my phone I've seen these headphones in the store and thought "that's a stupid design, how does that fit in your ear?" Clearly, I have more brains than the folks at apple. I usually use skullcandies and I really like the suction they offer. These headphones are plastic and just slip out. They actually don't fit in at all. I also have my tragus pierced on both ears. I have to flip the ring up to get these in and they still don't stay. I've never had to adjust my piercings with previous headphones. I'm disappointed. From what I gathered they sound ok though.

    Useless. And I'm baffled.

    • Written by from Cornwall

I'm baffled at how such a useless product ever got approved by Apple. The whole point of earbuds (or pods as Apple calls it), is that they should fit snuggly in your ear, comfortably, WITHOUT FALLING OUT. That is why just about every other earbuds out there have rubber caps or rubber lining, some even come with extra rubber caps with different sizes to fit the shape of your ear.

Apple's earpods seem like a cool idea in theory, but what good is it if you can't even use them? They come with no rubber caps or lining, therefore there is absolutely no grip, just smooth plastic. And the shape of these pods don't fit my ear very well and they simply slide right out. Did Apple design these earpods thinking everybody on planet earth has the exact same shape and size of ears? How could they have overlooked this problem? This is quite possibly Apple's stupidest design to date.

    Worst Apple product this decade

    • Written by from Decatur

These new earphones are unbelievably uncomfortable. I can't wear them more than 10-15 min without an ear ache. The previous version were the best "cheap" earphones out there, and these just don't fit at all for me. They don't sound awful, but when you can't wear them for more than very short term what is the point!

Definitely do not fit ears of all sizes

    • Written by from Burlington

Sound quality is great, mic is great, one problem: they are too big to fit in my ears.... which not only makes them extremely uncomfortable but makes them impossible to use because every time I move they fall out.

    Apple Earpods

    • Written by from Melbourne

While these earpods sound better than the previous ones, the bass of the music protrudes into the inner ear causing my ears to ache. I mean the quality of the earpods are definitely of high quality, but my ears did not benefit from the new shape. I have been having earaches and had to stop listening to my ipod because my ears were screaming. Tried adjusting the volume but if it is turned down too low you cannot hear the music but only the bass instruments.
