    Works for me...

    • Written by from Laguna

I bought the new iPod 5th generation just last week, and I was pretty much excited with the bundled earpods on it, after trying it out, i was astonished with the sound quality. Compared to the old Apple earphones, this is way better, I could even remember back when I was in college I had and iPod shuffle with the old earphones and i really find using it a little rubbish since i could really hear the outside noise; but with this earpods I can really hear the full bass of the songs i listen to. thumbs up to apple for this. The only thing missing with the bundled earpods is the remote. I wish they (Apple) tried to ship those bundled earpods with remote also. nevertheless its still cool.

These sound much better than my 150 dollar beats tour earbuds. Love them but the remote is pretty breakable

Perfect but the price is .-.

Every single detail of the earbuds are fanstastic, they are comfortable and just incredibly great for sound. Problem is.. what's with the price? I don't mind paying this much once in a while but its just too expensive. >.< Anyway maybe 20 dollars should do the trick..

The sound is very nice and crisp, but the EarPods gives me headaches whenever I put them on for half an hour. They stay in my ear at least.

They have great sound quality! Better than any pair i have ever had! the only problem is that right ear wire is starting to fade in and out. I take very good care of them putting back in the carrying case it came with and still wires in the right ear are going bad after only a month.

    Excellent sound

    • Written by from Glasgow

These headphones are amazing, they provide a really good sound for all genres of music. The bass is really good and higher notes also come through well, providing a rich sound. I also like that these headphones are really easy to keep clean. The reason why these headphones only receive 4 stars and not 5 is because the left earpod tends to fall out when I am walking, but that might just be might my ears..

    Surprisingly great!

    • Written by from Phoenix

After shorting out my iPhone 4 headphones by getting them caught and yanked one too many times (they took a lot of abuse), I tried going back to Bluetooth for a while. I was quickly fed up with the lack of clarity and volume as always, so I ordered a new set of these.

The design was new since my previous pair, and they looked well thought-out. I've not been the greatest fan of previous Apple mice or iPod/iPhone headphones, but they have really nailed both in their current versions.

These headphones are very clear with great base, have an open design (not sound isolating) so I can use them while driving, and despite looking thin and fragile they are among the most robust earbuds I've owned from any source. The bud shape may not stick in the ear as efficiently as the rubber type, but they are very comfortable and I can still have normal face-to-face conversations without having to take them out.

Many naysayers like to joke about the "Apple tax" as an unnecessary premium for the caché of the brand. Those people have rarely owned or appreciated Apple products. Their criticism is true on occasion, but not most of the time -- and definitely not in this case. Subtle design features, like the wonderful rubbery coating on the wires that makes them untangle so easily, are worth the extra cost. These are surprisingly great earbuds that suited my needs perfectly.

    Huge Improvement

Not everyone will think that these are great earbuds, but it's pretty clear that these are better than their previous earbuds. Not bad for $30, and definitely not bad for coming with all iPhones for free.

I've had these ear buds for a month they are great, but controls don't work on androids. However, the bass is great. The ear buds are so comfortable and don't fall out of your ears.

    Great headphones, but...

    • Written by from pittsburgh

Who needs those HUGE stuck up Beats by Dre headphones???? The new EarPods are great headphones!

The sound quality has majorly improved from the previous headphones.
The music in general feels much more realistic compared to other headphones.
Even the noise cancellation is even slightly better.
And most importantly - They sit extremely well inside the ear!!!

The reason they get 4 stars, is actually a major problem with using these headphones in everyday life: the traveling case.

I don't get you apple, why make the cavity in the case for rolling the headphones so small? You could have increased the cavity size and save plastic!!
It is very uncomfortable to roll these headphones back because of the plastic when the 2 wires combine. it makes some of the wire stick out of the case and the top plastic breaks when I try to close everything up.

I reccommend that apple should increase the cavity size for rolling back the headphones.
This is the only big problem I have experienced with the Apple EarPods (don't underestimate it, it's a pretty major design flaw..)

    Other than that great headphones!!

    Love them!

Really fantastic product. They sound fantastic - WAAAY better than my headphones which cost me double the price. These things are awesome. Strangely enough, my left ear feels a bit uncomfortable after prolonged usage. Not my right ear, just my left ear. Haha. So they aren't quite completely perfect for me, but I still love them.

    Great sound but uncomfortable

    • Written by from Elm Grove

Man. I REALLY wish I could use these headphones. I really like the sound of my music with them, but they absolutely kill my ears. I tried to get used to them, wearing them regularly for almost a month (sometimes headphones need some time to get used to) but there was no improvement. Every time I removed them I would wince. And my ears are normal-sized; I've never had a problem with the earlier Apple earbuds or other brands... *sigh*

    Great Sound, But ...

    • Written by from Whitefish

These ear phones deliver some very good sound, no doubt about that. But, they are NOT ergonomically designed. They are advertised as being optimized to fit the ear, but not mine. They do not stay in place and are easily dislodged by minor movements, necessitating frequent adjustments and reinsertions. The microphone is very good, and has a non-linear pickup that tends to emphasize your voice over background sounds. You'll still get background interference, but the mic delivers a good voice quality on the other end. For the price they are a good deal, but unless you have the shape of ear for which these things were designed, you may be disappointed with the fit.

I am extremely disappointed the stopped working because I loved the sound on them. and I got them with my iphone 5 so i didnt get any warranty. Please help me I can't afford a new pair right now

    Great Headphones, With exceptions

    • Written by from Edmonton

These are great headphones for the price tag. One of the main issues that I believe people have with them, is that they put them in wrong. After I had figured out how to properly place them in my ear, I lose the acoustic leakage, and they become great little gadgets. Granted, some things are not always good for everybody, I find them quite delicate and have broken the wires in mine already(about 4-5 months). If you are willing to learn how they are supposed to go in your ear, then you will be impressed with the sound quality.

    Great Sound but problems

These headphones are great. They have way better sound then prev headphones. The remote works great. But, about 2 weeks after I got them my Jack developed a short. So my left earbud is the only one that's working.

    Very good quality headphones

The new EarPods by Apple are much better than the previous earbuds. I have used them day in and day out for 2 weeks and they are amazing headphones but if you're willing to spend more than $30 there are much better headphones out there. They are definitely the best headphones you'll get for $30 dollars.

They feel like clouds in my ears but there is an obvious imbalance of sound

    • Written by from Boca Raton

I love these headphones because they are so comfortable however there is one problem. These headphones (at least mine) have an imbalance of sound meaning one earpod is louder than the other. I have 2 pairs of beats and I have decided to switch back to them.
