Reviews for Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic

the sound is very good for headphones that come with an iphone or ipod but the fit isnt very secure for me atleast. I wish apple would've made these real in ear headphones

I would love them to come in ALL BLACK just like my black iPhone, wouldn't you?

I've used the previous earbuds for a long time and found their fit and sound quality to be average and did not really justify the 30$ tag. But after using the earpods, i have not had any fitting troubles. It sits in my ear very nicely and comfortably, movement is minimal if any. The sound quality has also improved in clarity quality. The bass is more pronounced now with the addition of the small air vents around the ear pod. I am also very pleased with the feel of the remote, it is much bigger and feels more durable. This can be said for the product overall. At this point, i can say it was a well spent 30$.

I use these earpod when I'm at the gym running on the treadmill, and I can say that they fit horribly. I have to keep pushing them with my finger or else they fall after 1 minute.
The sound and build quality is way better than the older version but I will continue using my Monter turbine copper pro.

The headphones sound better than most in ear headphones in this price range, but they constantly fall out or move out of position.

The sound is excellent. The earpods fall out of my ear just as often as the old headphones did. They are more comfortable when they're in your ear though. If they find a way to make them stay in your ear they get 5 stars!

As a DJ, I appreciate quality sound. I had the Apple In-Ear Headphones, which were very nice because of the noise cancellation, but these little suckers are almost a third of the price for the same quality! Now I don't think Apple's major focus is on headphones, but after hearing these I have to re-think that statement! The bass is incredible for non in-ear, and they are not junky at all. They fit my ears perfectly, which I thought might have been a problem, and they blast music right into your ear canal so you can listen to them on a lower volume and have great bass. I used to use bass booster which I now turned off because without it they preform as if it were on. Voices are clear, basses are low and not distorted, just awesome! Another concern people had was with running if they would come out. I haven't tried this yet considering I got them about an hour ago, but they seem pretty snug once you get them in. Overall, great work, Apple!!

The new Apple EarPods are fantastic! They fit perfectly I can't believe it, the bass has tremendous sound and is great. They are really loud and super comfortable. If these were $80 I'd still buy them. You can't even tell they're in your ear. I love them so much!! I just hope they don't break fast. Great great job apple. Now I really believe you've scanned 100's of ears and taken 3 years to perfect them. Great job apple! The best company on this planet... Ever! <3

I've always had trouble with the original round Apple earphones. From the iPhone 3 to 4S, I could never get them to fit into my ear and sit naturally. They would always sit at an odd angle and let the sound leak out (resulting in very tinny audio).

My other alternative was to mash the earphones into my ear, but this was always a temporary solution as the earphones would eventually pop out again.

In short, these earpods suffer the same issue as the original earphones. They're too large and refuse to sit comfortably in my ear.

I've watched videos of people placing these earpods in their ears and they seem to fit very comfortably and snuggly, but they just don't work for me.

Of my experience with these earpods so far -- The audio quality is great, and there's a massive reduction in the noise that comes from handling the cable.

But all of these positive points mean nothing if the earpods don't fit in my ear.

Apple needs to make a SMALLER version of these earpods -- Based on the reviews i'd be happy to pay a premium for them, so long as they fit. As for now, i'm sticking with my Sennheiser 598 headphones, as no earphone on the market seems to fit me correctly.
