It doesn't seem to work with the Canon PowerShot S95. I could not find the Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) setting on my camera and nothing is stated in regards to PTP in the camera's manual.

If somebody had success with the S95, please let me know. Thanks

I was so excited when I first got this. I got it for Christmas and it worked for about 1 month (with a Canon Rebel and a Canon PowerShot). However, shortly after that, it quit recognizing both of those cameras. I was thinking I'd return it and get an SD card reader, but it sounds like the reviews for that are just as bad! Come on Apple, get it together.

I have tried 3 different devices..a canon rebel, a Lumix, and a gopro..it recognizes the gopro as using too much power and it does not ever see the other two cameras. But on my old ipad with the 30 point connector to USB it works like a charm. So what gives? I am taking mine back..30 dollars is a lot to pay for a useless device

It does not work on my iPad Mini and a new Nikon Coolpix S01. (I even disabled the charge via computer on the camera!)

I hope Apple will fix this soon or warn users that this adapter is not working on the iPad Mini and Apple does not even support the new iPod Touch 5G. Because users like me can always buy a new, better product instead – right?

I wish the reviews on this product were available when I bought the USB Camera Adapter. I receive a message saying my device requires too much power. Don't waste your money - it doesn't work.

After purchasing a different connector yesterday from an apple store where I was sold the wrong item, I exchanged it for this one. However upon trying this with my Nikon cool pix S6300 digital camera just now I have found that this doesn't work - just says "attached USB device requires too much power" after playing around for a bit, still can't get it to even register my camera let alone transfer my photos! Also can't seem to find a list of compatible or non compatible cameras anywhere on the Apple website. Looks like I'm going to have to do the 50 mile round trip to the nearest apple store for the 3rd time this week to get a refund on this useless accessory that does not do the only thing it is designed to do! Not happy!

I find this product frustrating. Advertised to transfer pictures and videos from SD to iPad but find that the results are inconsistent with pictures and transferring video is even harder. I would not recommend this at the moment.

This iten is a total waste of money. Does not work with a Sandisk card reader. does not work with a Canon 7D DSLR or Canon point and shoot camera or any flash drive. Don't know how Apple can sell this item that has so many bugs.
