    Awesome and it works i had lots of micro usb cables coming from android and bought two of these so i can use my longer cables. They work great but are very small.

    BEST THING EVER !!!

    I just bought this adapter for my iPhone 5.

    I have the speck candyshell case on, and this adapter fits right in even with the case on.

    Also, it feels like my iphone charges faster with microusb and this adapter than with the apple charger.

    This product is a MUST-HAVE.

    Among so many things that I have bought at Apple store, this is the best product.

    I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an extra cable because this thing is the same price as the original usb-to-lighting cable, but this thing allows you to use different lengths of microusb cables. Also, microusb cables are cheaper to replace than original Apple cables.

    Its so tiny! so very, very small that it begs to be lost.

    I bought this because I needed a dual charging solution. It made more sense to me to buy USB micro cables and adapt them for the iDevices so I could charge both from 1 cable.
    This may have been a mistake. The lose-ability of this adapter is 5 stars.
    Im thinking about sticking a magnet or string on it so it doesn't disappear.
    Other than that, the look, fit and finish is top notch. Works great.
    Would be nice if apple included a lanyard hole of some sort so you could tether it to the micro cable.

    I bought this adapter when I upgraded from an Android to the iPhone5, I had LOTS of micro USB cables and car chargers that are now useful with the iPhone5. It's a bit pricey for such a little adapter, but it works flawlessly. Glad I bought one, probably going to buy another so that I can keep one at work.

    Found this little thing while Christmas shopping for the wife. It's the greatest idea yet. We came from the competitors to the iPhone5, so we have a bunch of chargers that were useless until now !! Just throw it in my pocket & I don't have to worry about taking a stupid car charger with me all the time. Now I can use it at work, or borrow a friends mini USB charger & I'm good to go !! Thanks Apple !!

    This turned my micro usb car charger into a a lightning adapter car charger!!! Awsome also turns any mirco usb charger or cord into a lighning adapter cord! Great to have!!

    Best iPhone 5 accessory thus far

    This little accessory saves me from carrying many cables around. Now I carry a micro or mini USB cable and cannect this and ready to charge anywhere there is a USB connection, so long as the cable is 36 inches or shorter. My 6 foot cable will not work no matter which direction you plug the bug in. Minor drawback is that it is so tiny and can be lost or misplaced easily. I keep mine attached to a cable or connected to the phone.

    Turn any micro USB cable into your charge/sync cable. I'm using a 4' cable from my retired android so I can watch movies and charge it while laying in bed.

    Nice but needs a keychain loop

    This is beautifully functional in that it is no bigger than it needs to be. And a huge improvement over the old 30-pin connector. But it's also tiny enough to lose with ease. I'd like a small keyhole on it to thread a keychain loop through, or perhaps a case that has a keyring attached.

    The 30 pin adapter won't fit with my speak HD case but this will. Any USB Cable will work.

    Just the thing, but awfully expensive

    This tiny item is just the thing for charging your Lightning-equipped iOS gadget from your old micro USB charger. It works perfectly and adds virtually no bulk to the charger cable. Still, $20 seems like a lot, even from Apple, for this adapter.

    Who designed this cable, a 3 years old?

    Who ever approved or design this needs to be fired! Horrible design.. no reinforcement on the wire to the adapter end part! a few twist and the 4 small wiring can break off! people who are aware about the exchange will keep buying new ones, not knowing they can go to apple n get replacement because of the 1 year warranty when u buy the iphone 5 or ipad..
