    bad quality

    • Written by from San Marino

Please correct the quality of your lightning to usb cable. I am disappointed at the poor quality of your usb cable. For $29, your usb cable should last at least six months. It is frustrating my iPhone won't charge because of a defective usb cable and I am on a business trip.

    The worse cable ever!!!!

    • Written by from Brooklyn

Unfortunately I'm forced to buy this worthless cable again because if you buy 3rd party chargers they say they aren"t compatible with my devices. This is the 5th cable I'm purchasing and it seems all the lightning cables are horrible and Apple needs to get it together and produce a product that works longer than one month.

    to much money

    • Written by from Henderson

I have already spent over $150 on the phone cords alone.
I really wish apple did not change it to the lightning, my ipod cord from over 2 years ago, works perfectly fine. these cords maybe last a month or 2.
I have bought different ones from apple, amazon, belkin. just seems like nothing will work for my iphone 5, it would be much cheaper to just get a different phone

    IS ANYONE AT APPLE LISTENING?

    • Written by from dayton

I am very disappointed with the newer iPhone 5, 5s and 5c charger style. I have had to buy so many because they just stop working! I have tried buying original Apple chargers, and the cheaper versions found at gas stations. It doesn't seem to matter which one you buy, they both last a couple of months then just stop working! I feel that apple owes the consumers some type of compensation for their flawed design, that is causing thousands if not millions of apple phone users to have to purchase charger chords over and over. I have read hundreds of forums, complaints, reviews etc.. depicting the same exact issue I have explained here. Does apple plan on doing anything? I would prefer to have the old style. I had an I phone 4 and bought an iPhone 5s in January and in the 3 1/2 years I had my iPhone 4 my chord never broke. If the design wasn't flawed...why fix it? Especially when the new design is awful! Highly disappointed in this expensive Apple product!

    Lighting to USB Cable

    • Written by from Largo

I have had to buy cable after cable due to them stopping to work properly. One day they work and the next they are broken. I never had a problem with the old apple cords. Hopefully Apple will fix this problem as the cords are not cheap. I could have purchased another phone with the amount of money I have spent on buying new cords.

    • Written by from Conway

I spent 30$+ for this thing. I haven't even had my iPhone for a year and I've invested in two chargers. I've babied this charger and its already stopped working. yall need to stop making these new phones the bend in half and start making a good quality charger to actually use the expensive things!!!!

I'm very disappointed with this product. I have had an issue with the plastic cable wrap tearing away near the lightning port of the cable. The same thing happened to my second cable in the same spot. This is definitely an issue. Not Apple quality..

Apple lighting cable is like some cheap Chinese junk.

With all the talents and money that Apple has , yet they can't make a quality cable. A total piece of junk. I am switching over to Samsung phone.

    • Written by from Vista

I'm a huge apple fan, but the Lightning cable's are costing me a fortune. I'm almost tempted to go to a Samsung phone. I don't mind paying the extra dollar if the product is going to last for more that a month. They always rip no matter how careful you are. I've bought non brand and brand and I have to say Iphone4 cable was way better!!!! Cmon Apple!!!

    Charger

    • Written by from buckie

These chargers are one of the worst chargers in the world. I don't bend or play with them while my phone is charging and they brake. They are the most flimsiest and thinnest chargers in the world and most easy to brake. If Apple wants to carry on making money and keeping customers happy the they really need to think of ways to make the charger stronger and less harder to brake and bend. It's ridiculous. Get it sorted

    BIG Disappointment

    • Written by from Stockton

I purchased this USB cable thinking it would last a lot longer than the one that
came with the Ipad. What a huge disappointment. I haven't used it for a year (generous estimate)
and it has already quit working. So now I am back to using the supplied USB cable.
I am wondering if I received a defective one, or if this is a problem that others are experiencing?

I will look for my receipt and see if it came with a warranty. Seems like Apple should stand behind their
    product.

I have to buy ANOTHER cable... AGAIN?!

    • Written by from Richfield

Seriously, I keep this next to my bed and on a stand. It should be able to withstand the normal plus in every night.... But the cord cannot!

The cord is the worst quality I have ever had from a charger... Can you please go back to the ugly black hard plastic so that it stops being destroyed!

This is the 7th cable I am buying this year alone and it is only July 3rd, 2014!

    HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE>

I don't want to buy a knock off in case it makes my phone explode!

    WORST CHARGER EVER

    • Written by from Trenton

I bought my IPhone 5c in October of 2013 and it is now June of 2014 and I have gone through 6 chargers paying almost $100 in expenses. They always crinkle and break no matter what I do. I just got one last week and it is already broken. I cant deal with this anymore. Apple needs to fix this a lot or they are going to lose my support.

    Horrible Charger

    • Written by from Sleepy hollow

I have had to buy 3 or 4 chargers in the last 5 months. I don't know what is is that makes these chargers break so easily, but it is costly and annoying. The iphone 4 chargers are much better and hardly ever break. Apple definitely should not have created a new charger for the iphone 5.

    POOR QUALITY CHARGER

    • Written by from Bloomfield two

To start, I am not one to write negative reviews but I purchased a new charger about 6 months ago after my cat chewed through my existing one. I made sure to protect the new charger and cord so I wouldn't have anymore issues with my crazy cat. To my surprise the charger has started loosing its connectivity AFTER ONLY 6 MONTHS OF USE!!! I have to fidget with the phones placement until it lands just right in order for the phone to charge. This can take several minutes if I can get it to work at all. There are no punctures to the cord and I don't even coil it tightly. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH APPLES CHARGER QUALITY. For them to provide such high quality in all of their other products I would hope they could produce a functional phone charger that lasts much longer than 6 months. As a previous Droid owner, I can say that every single one of those chargers are still fully functional. SO FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED :(
