    the charger is no good

    The charger is no good, i've only had my iPod for about 2 months and its already broken. I noticed about 3 weeks ago id have to keep unpluging my charger from the wall and plug it back in or else it wouldn't charge

    Very Bad product!!

    My first charger broke after 3 months..which seems good considering other peoples broke after a week. I have bout a new one 5 weeks ago and am having the same problem as before. Apple should be ashamed!!

    Horrible wire

    I am on my second lightning wire already (less than 6 months). The old 30 pin wire I only had to purchase a new one when I needed an extra wire. Apple needs to recall these wires like they do with ipods especially since alot of people have already purchased more than one. If you plan on changing something so drastic maybe spend some time putting it through the rigors of everyday life before releasing it to the public.

    You all are lucky!

    You guys are lucky you had it last a couple of months. Mine broke the very first time I restored my data from iTunes! If the support website didn't give me a strange error when I tried to get a replacement, I wouldn't have to take the whole iPod back. Oh well, Apple's loss.

    This charger breaks super easily. I've had 2 so far and today my 2nd one just broke. I also think it's quite a lot of money for a charger that doesn't really work.

    i thought the new sleek look of the cord was amazing and it worked okay for the first month then the metal tip burnt off the cord, i replaced it with a new one and i've only had it for three weeks and it's not working anymore. it has to be twisted a certain way to charge and i've been at 5% and dying... the most annoying i am so disappointed jn this apple product i thought the ipad 4 would be better than the 2 but the charger is absolutely horrible

    Cord for my iphone 5

    The cord for my iPhone 5 that I've only had for three months stopped working. Everyone has been talking about how their cords look wrinkled where they connect to the phone and that's exactly what mine looked like before the wires were exposed and quit working after three months. Very poor cable.

    cable only lasted 3 months before cord became twisted and could no longer charge phone. Genuine Apple product as it came with the iPhone 5. No more "harsh" with this cable than with prior phone charger cables, iPod, iPad, etc cables which are all original. Seems like defective workmanship on this one!!

    Have had my Charger and phone for 2 months today and it had never been moved from my bedside table and now I just tried to plug it in and it wont charge. IT BROKE AFTER 2 MONTHS!

    I just recently got an iPod touch 5 and the charger just stopped working. I've had this happen repeatedly. Not acceptable apple.

    Another way Apple will make money...

    Upgraded to the iPhone 5 and so far everything's been great except for the horrible quality of the charger. It seems like I'll have to buy a replacement cord to charge my phone every 4 months. You would think that Apple would've put more effort into making a better quality product.

    I just broke my second one and im getting awfully poed. When you try to play the phone sideways, that bends the wite causing the inner parts to tear. I am fed up with this and want there to be some way of fixing this!

    This charger is garbage

    Yes this charger is a joke, my family has two of these "new" chargers and conveniently they both broke within 3 months at the same time. Now we are looking to buy 2 new ones which are extremely hard to find, because the break so easily. It is completely garbage quality and apple should be embarrassed to have their name on this product. To top it off we have 10 of the old chargers. And cannot use them, btw they have never broken.

    Does not charge or connect to the computer after only 2 months. Apple store replaced it for free but its too far away for me to keep having to go to have a stinking cable replaced so I can use my phone.

    Stopped working!

    Got it with my iPhone and it now stopped working. Very poor quality. The iPhone 4 cable never stopped working. It is a shame that newer doesn't mean better. It means worse. Veru unhappy that I have to pay for another one.

    Very bad (not Apple-like) quality!

    The cable lasted few months, and broke on BOTH ends, and stopped charging. I am VERY disappointed, as I am a loyal Apple customer, but things like this will make me switch to other brands. I just don't have time to go there and get another one when I need my phone CHARGED. Apple R&D staff please do something asap.

    Cables only last 2 months

    In the time that I have owned an iPhone 5 (so about 6 months) I am now on my 3rd cable... I just got my last cable replaced about 2 months ago and its already stopped working again. My friend is also on his 3rd cable... His literally started smoking yesterday. THESE ARE AWFUL!! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE. Especially since its 20$ for one cheap cable.
