I love this case on my iPad its thin offers protection and is functional like the Smart Cover

Don't get me wrong it's a great case I just can't stand that I got a fluke case. This case I have on my ipad 4 is nice protecting both the front and back, there is a ginormous gap between the top of the case and the iPad I wish I could send it in to apple and have them send me a new one. I love the case I just hate the gap. If anyone knows if apple will take it and replace it please let me know.

Not sure what to do, but my RED iPad smart case doesn't stick or fold back very well any longer. Apple guy said the magnetism wears off. Boo.

I love this case; the light weight and easy access has been great. I have a grey one; I think I will get a Red case next time. Great protection for my iPad. I would recommend the case over the cover.

Product is very functional, but holy moly this color is not what I expected. It's an extremely BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT red. I would have gotten another color had I known... It looks more subdued online.

Excellent case. Have a navy Smart Cover as well but this is great for full protection. Nice quality materials as usual. Only thing that I'd like to see in this case is for the cover to detach and work as a Smart Cover as well.

I really liked this case at first, The screen protector covered the entire touchscreen, the red stands out and the overall aesthetic was very nice. Buttons are easily accessible. Cool apple logo on the back.
The protection is so so. The screen protector stays in place, but polyurethane is only a couple mm thick on the back. The sides taper a bit to provide a little more protection for side impacts.
But alas, after a few months mine began to show wear. The way I grab the screen protector is grab the corner and peel it open. That and the constant folding into "stand formation", the polyurethane between the cover's metal stand grommets now puckers a little. Not a big deal, but now the stand doesn't work properly(It wasn't great to begin with). It falls over, for me at the cost of my retina display >.< I'm kind of shocked that my screen broke from just falling forward.

Nice looking, just don't expect a lot of protection. I wouldn't risk using the stand unless you're on carpet. Good luck!

Silly, I know, but the red makes me happier than the green I purchased where I bought the Ipad. The red was not available in-store or on the website at, can I say it here, Best Buy?. Here on the Apple website, the engraving is an included option; again, unavailable at that other retailer. It's nice and subtle, just right.

The red is fluorescent, not at all like the red leather. I happen to love the material; it stays in place better than the leather. I'm disabled, so I use the Ipad mostly on my lap or on the bed, often with a stylus. I wish that the case had a place to keep a stylus,

PS Fed Ex showed an arrival date of 8 calendar days after my order; I received it in 5.

I love this case. I had a cover and did not like it because it is easy to drop the iPad if you are holding the cover and the magnet does not hold. The case is great. It protects the back of the iPad and eliminates the problem of dropping the iPad as mentioned above. I wish you would have a cover for the ipad mini. The mini is great but the cases available are not great. To the person who reviewed the case as hard to clean..just use iclean with the microfiber cloth..
