    Not a good fit for iPad 4

    I love the idea of this case and love the red color but the fit with the iPad 4 is too loose. There is a space all around the ipad. They need to redesign for the new product!

    I have had this case about three weeks, and have noticed a small crack in the outside layer near the hinge. This appears to be a defect in the case. It is in a place that would not be exposed when the case is open and the iPad is in use. When I am not using the iPad, it has been just lying on a table. I have never taken it out of the house, so there is no possibility of damage from being carried in a purse or backpack.

    I don't live near a retail Apple Store, and the case is listed as not eligible for return when I checked my account at the online Apple Store.

    Hinge side pulls away from iPad.

    Looks good and protects edges and all four corners from damage.
    However, when the cover is folded back, the hinged edge pulls away from
    the edge of the iPad. I doubt that it will pop out, but it is annoying. The edges of the case are too sharp for me to hold it comfortably for a long time, such as while reading an ebook. I have tried scooting it around and reinstalling it, but to no avail. I wish I had bought the regular cover. This is a disappointment.

    Smart Cover poor fit & bad stand

    I am not happy with my Smart Cover. It does not fit snug enough. There is slack on back and on sides. Also it does not stand well. It falls over very easily. The only reason I don't return it is because I had it engraved. I bought a $10.00 case off of eBay that stands better but the cutout for the camera isn't right. Not satisfied with my purchase. Very surprised that apple does not make a better product

    Very disappointed. When placed into position to surf the net or read iBooks or anything it wobbles when you touch it. Very unstable. When it comes to typing it is uncomfortable. It offers only two positions both unstable. However, it is pretty. Just not worth the hassle. In my opinion, get the Belkin case and be very happy with your choice.

    Too big

    This case feels like it is too big for my iPad 4, it's not secure in it. I'm sending it back & getting two pieces. I hope Apple fixes this.

    I bought this case and the first time I dropped my iPad from less than two feet the corner of my ipad chipped off and the case is damaged!!!

    honestly I was very disappointed in the case when I got home and put it on my ipad. The back is "protected" by a thin layer of polyurethane. My fault for thinking that it would have a hardback. I guess the people that thought of this design were employed by trojan or durex.

    Not a perfect fit. Device kept sliding around in it. And sometimes it pushed my USB out.
    It doesn't seem like an issue at first, but the longer you have the ipad in your hand the more frustrated you end up. I returned it.
