    Multi-function case

    I got this case with the new iPad that just came out (3rd generation) and it is amazing. I didn't think it was going to be all that great considering the first impressions of it but once i put it on my iPad it really helped out. Some great things about this case is that it doesn't attract hair, looks nice and clean, you can use it as a stand, tliting the device so it's easier to type, locks the device when you put the cover over it, and it's magnetic so it's really easy to take on and off. It does seem a little expensive but I think it's worth the money for what it is capable of.

    I think it's ok but it doesn't stay on well it looks nice but it isn't the best movie viewing stand as it claims but also the part where the magnets connect to ipad. Scratched the metal finish on my new ipad 4 so it's kinda cool I guess but be careful

    The iPad smart cover is awesome. I only got mine recently, but I love it. The texture is great, I love how it wakes or sleeps my iPad, how the microfiber cloth keeps the screen clean, and how I can fold it as a stand. Absolutely brilliant .

    A Mess

    The cover is always falling off and it does nothing to the back of the back so when I'm working at a desk it just keeps sliding and moving all over the place.

    Have two of these one grey and one blue . The blue one is prone to fading
    Good points
    Acts as a stand
    Puts the iPad to sleep
    When using the iPad it can be put behind the iPad giving a nice soft surface to hold the iPad
    Bad points
    Does not protect the back of iPad therefore resulting in lots of scratches on the back of iPad
    The blue color fade to a light blue color
    Does not protect the iPad completly ( found this the hard way ) dents have been formed on my iPad and it really hurts me to see those dents , so best is to take the smart case

    The iPad 2 smart cover is very good. It cleans the screen very well. Also, I think it is defenentaly worth $40. It does add weight, but it is not that much of a difference. Also, the colors are very good.

    Don't call it a case...

    It is not. Apple does so many things so well, but when they miss the mark, they really miss it. This is a cool idea, but impractical. It gives no protection whatsoever to the ipad, which is what you are looking for in a case. Additionally, in order to get what I want, I have to buy a "shell" for the back, which brings the price up to the average price of real cases. The colors are pretty, though. I will give you that.

    If you drop your iPad this cover will be of no use to you. If you take your iPad out of the house often, or if you allow others to use it: choose another case or cover.

    VERY DISAPPOINTED With smart cover

    I have had this product for LESS THAN 3 MONTHS and it already has to be replaced. I am extremely careful with my IPAD and it has never been dropped, or misused, but today when I closed the cover the entire left back corner fell off. Leaving about 1/4 of an inch of plastic gripping the pad. This shouldn't happen with careful daily use

    I am surprised that company like apple sells these type of cases ( i bought a smart cover case). It is annoying to deal with , it doesnt hold the ipad , it constantly falls and seems to be pretty useless for 45 dollars plus tax it is a waste of money

    It seems to have a very flimsy design. It is sometimes very difficult to get the magnet to stay in its place in order to attach to the iPad. it will often swing around and stick to the cover itself. :/

    Everything about this cover just works. It holds your iPad up for typing and just to watch movies on it. I was skeptical about it at first but bought it anyways because apple has never let me down. You did it again apple. One more product that just works. :)
