Great colour smart cover, suits my black New iPad, protects the front very well and useful stand. Good job Apple once again

The cover does not stay attached as well as expected. Hard to get set up on the desktop. My screen is still getting dusty. Would not recommend or buy this type of cover again.

The less said about the cover the better, After a few months of usage I face the following issues:
1. The magnetic catches have sctrched the ipad from where it sticks to it.
2. The cover itself is a dust magnet and after a few months of usage there is more dust on the screen than outside as the inside of the cover accumulates the dust

4. Mine is a blue polyurethane one and though the material is undamaged , the colour has faded of in patches and it looks like a blue cheetah skin.

I got this case with the new iPad that just came out (3rd generation) and it is amazing. I didn't think it was going to be all that great considering the first impressions of it but once i put it on my iPad it really helped out. Some great things about this case is that it doesn't attract hair, looks nice and clean, you can use it as a stand, tliting the device so it's easier to type, locks the device when you put the cover over it, and it's magnetic so it's really easy to take on and off. It does seem a little expensive but I think it's worth the money for what it is capable of.

I mean the smart cover does everything it says it does it folds up as a stand and ive had mine for a year and the color hasn't wore off buy this i reccommend it

I have had the Smart Cover for about 6 months. I paired the Smart Case with a hard case for the back of the iPad designed to work with the Smart Case. For the first 3 or 4 months I had no complaints other than leaving lines on the screen that were easily wiped away. After that, however, the magnet that connects to the aluminum side of the iPad began to scratch it. Now, the side of my iPad has many spots where the aluminum has been rubbed "raw". Would not recommend.

I got the blue cover with my white iPad 2 when they first came out. I have enjoyed having the cover, and it does what it's supposed to do: it covers the screen and protects it when not in use, it folds into a comfortable little stand when open, and it makes the iPad wake/sleep. I also like the way it looks. I have never had to clean it, and it looks as good today as it did when I first bought it. The magnets have weakened some in the almost 1 year since I first bought it and so the cover comes off occasionally when it's in an awkward position, but it generally isn't a problem. It's important to keep in mind that this cover is only attached by magnets, so you shouldn't hold the iPad by the cover or you'll risk dropping it.

The cover is always falling off and it does nothing to the back of the back so when I'm working at a desk it just keeps sliding and moving all over the place.

I've had it for a couple weeks now and a dent in it would start building up. Now it looks terrible and I hardly use it anymore. Really DISSAPPOINTED.
