Dissapoint and whatever i try to clean it 's get the color look worse. Darker color for leather cover is better.

I bought this cover because of the color and because it is leather. I use a walnut adhesive veneer on the back of my iPad so the cream color is the one I really wanted for aestheic reasons. It became so disgusting from skin oils that it is impossible to clean, and on this light color, it really is nasty looking. I really want a refund. I sincerely wish I could post an image of what this thing looks like.

I really love the look of the cream leather cover attached to my white iPad2. This is a perfect match. However, this lovely look will last you around three days at a maximum. The cover gets stained very easily. Having somewhat greasy fingers is all that it takes to stain your cream cover - forever.

Please note that i handle the cover with great care; i had the first one replaced because it could not be cleaned to my satisfaction, irrespective of the leather cleaner I used. It looked terrible after day 3. Got a replacement -> same thing within three days. I then had it replaced by a polyurethane-cover in grey.

Most of the time, my iPad furthermore is inside a bag. I use the iPad like 2hrs a day. Even though I handle both, the iPad and the cream cover, with care, the leather cream cover stains almost immediately and there is NO - I repeat: NO - cleaner that would clean this cover to my satisfaction.

I am now very happy with my grey poly-urethane cover. If you must have the creram leather cover, be prepared to wash your hands every time before touching the cover. There should be a protective cover available for the cream leather cover :)

I like the protection my cream leather cover gives the screen. The problem I am having are the seams separating after less than a year of use. I use it for personal use only, and am not rough with it. I chose leather because I was expecting longer wear out of it.

The cream color is a magnet for permanent stains and discoloration. When I tried cleaning it with the most gentle leather cleaner the leather started to rub off. The quality of the leather is extremely poor, thin and porous. At least the Apple Store exchanged it with no argument, and recommended I get the black or navy leather cover.

Don't get this color, it was stained in the first day of use through normal wear and tear. I am a road warrior and this might hold up to abuse, but I can't bring in front of a client.

I exchanged for a red one, which I will be returning today as well. Apple has two kinds of covers their employees use in the Kiosk stores: black and navy. Must hide dirt better.

Real Leather can be WASHED with a mild soap and water. And it takes well to scrubbing with a soft bristle brush. I have had mine for several months and it only takes 5 minutes to clean it. (However I need to hang it up - it clings to a metal hanger, to dry). People who complain are not used to the joy of living with real leather. Do not be afraid of this color leather, mine looks like new after months of daily use (and the recent scrub down.)

I think the cream gets dirty to easly. I have a black leather to and I can't even tell if it's dirty or not. I would go with darker color like navy blue, black, or even red.

Very disappointed in this product. It will not stay on, stains easily, and mine was also made backwards....the leather is on the wrong side. Ridiculous to pay this much for a defective product. It is going back.

This is probably the worst color choice with the leather Smart Covers I've seen. I have had mine for 6 months and it's gotten worse and worse. It shows ever possible piece of dirt and grime that's every come in contact with it. I've tried a few different leather cleaners on it and nothing has ever worked to get it looking even descent again. I use mine for business and keep it as clean as possible, but at this point it still looks horrible! Saw my friend's poly version that he's had for the same amount of time and it looks perfect still.
