I purchased three covers more than 6 months ago. One for myself, one for my wife and one for my parents. The covers are a great design. They protect the screen by keeping it clean and free from scratches. The folding stand function works great for both typing and watching videos. I love the auto off/on function. It does exactly what it says on the tin!

The cover will NOT protect the iPad if you drop it... you are an idiot if you expect it to!
The cover will NOT act as a handle to pickup the iPad... you are an idiot if you expect it to!
The stand function is easy and works just fine... you are an idiot if you cannot work this out!
The cover will get dirty if you do not take care of it... you are an idiot if you expect it to self clean!
The back of the iPad can still get scratched... you get the idea!

I really enjoy the smart pad. I have no problems with fingerprints as I have seen in other reviews. The leather is quality and functions well. I like the RED product especially. Worth the money!

I use my iPad every day and the cover looks brand new! I think the key to any cover is to just take care of it like you should. Very Happy and hope the iPad 3 coming out has a cool type of cover like this as well.

Have used my iPad daily for nine months and the red leather cover still works well. It has traveled with me to four continents, on camping trips, to the beach, and even used in undersea video in New Zealand! The leather has that nice weathered look-like a saddle but with a few spilled cups of coffee or wine on it. Magnets still work but keep your hotel key cards away from them- keeps erasing my room keys. The simple cover goes well with the sleek design of the iPad. You can get one of those thick aftermarket covers but that is like wearing a raincoat in the shower- not needed or effective- have one on my iPad1 and the cover itself is wearing the corner edges. Have dropped my iPad2 several times but the steel back has only a few tiny nicks on the edge, and the amazing glass herculite? screen has just a few minuscule scratches that you really have to look for to see. Don't worry, enjoy the iPad work of art in its natural habitat with this cool cover.

The Ipad is amazing !! It looks like an Iphone but a little bigger xD But this is so amazing , as we all know its quiet expensive but these amazing Ipad covers are all just smart !! The Ipad Smart covers are VERY easy to use and and makes your ipad look AMAZING!! I have an ipad and by just putting the ipad smart cover , it makes it look amazing. The ipad smart covers come in lots of different colors, from light to dark!

I love my cover. It has saved my iPad twice already . It could stand up a little better.
But well worth the investment.

I just got the ipad2 for Xmas and my bday. My husband has had an iPad for a year & we love his, but i needed my own. His case is leather outside and has the soft interior lining, it's nice but not as nice as this case.
This case is great because I never have to worry about turning it on or off. It keeps the screen clean & protected. Its magnetic hinge doesn't come loose and it's very lightweight. It folds perfectly for typing and watching movies.
Love this case!
