Reviews for Apple iPhone 4 Bumper - Blue

I had the bumper for 3 months and I was really happy with it (it looked good, it protected my phone, didn't make the phone too bulky), but when I dropped my phone on something that wasn't a perfectly flat surface it completely shattered. I'm bitter because I need to give up my unlimited data plan now. Just keep in mind that the bumper only protects some kind of falls.

I've been using this bumper for nearly two years. It was great, protected my phone and didn't damage it. I now wish I could find one for the iPhone 5.

I bought the green bumper to protect my iPhone, and if I had known that my headphones do not work with it, I probably would have gotten a different product. In order to listen to music, or practice for my singing lessons I have to take the bumper off every time; which is frustrating and makes it a waste of money. I cannot use the headphones that come with the phone because have they me migraines. Also, I've only had the bumper for a few weeks and it is already getting dirty. I've only had it in my backpack and sitting on my desk at home.

Apple needs to make a iPhone case that covers not only the sides but the back of the iPhone!

Apple: The bumper color choices are lackluster; especially since the lighter colors get grimy fast. Any change you can come up with some darker jewel tones that will camouflage dirt and grime better? For now, black is the only color that works, but, it’s also boring.

I knew not to walk out of the store without a case when i bought my phone, and I didn't see any others I liked so I bought the bumper. I've had it now for 5 months.

As far as I can tell, there isn't a case out there that upholds the integrity of the iPhone design and still protects it as well as the bumper does.

It gets dirty really quickly and easily. The rubber part is now a dingy, yellowy color, though the hard part still looks nice.

I love that it's a snug fit, but it's not too hard to take off, and it's great to have the buttons on the outside of the case match the phone's design.

The best part is that it works exactly how it's supposed to. I don't have a plastic protector on the back but there's not a scratch on it. I've had a few major falls from my pocket to asphalt and the corner of the bumper got banged up, but it really provided the shock protection I was looking for.

I have this case in blue and it does a good job of protecting your iPhone. I only have a few minor complaints. The blue has begun to look a little dirty (I've had this case for about four months) but it can be cleaned up to a degree by washing it up. It can be difficult to plug a headphone jack into the port due to the case, and I think the price is a little high. Overall, this case is great at protecting your iPhone without doubling its size.

Have had none of the issues others have had. Fits great. Only thing is my pink is now looking pretty dirty. Am going to order the black even thought I think it is a bit pricey.

I love this case. It's not bulky and keeps my iPhone4 looking awesome!! I've had this case for several weeks now and have not had any problems whatsoever with it. It's not bulky but keeps the outside protected. I suggest whoever is reading this review to get the case. I also liked the fact that this case comes in many colors. This case does not disappoint.

I just bought the same type of Apple bumper (from an Apple store) for my mother's iPhone and mine. The only difference was that one bumper is black and the other is white. Oddly enough they function different! The black bumper is made of rubber on the edges so it doesn't slip out of your hand (works great). However, the white bumper does not have the same rubber edges. In fact, the white bumper made the phone very slippery to handle.

Hey Apple -- Bad design on both bumpers and a phone with a metal band, which has a very low coefficient of friction (things slip out!) But lucky you guys -- it pushes us consumers to buy your overpriced bumpers. Thanks a lot.
