Great protection around the edges of the iphone, while leaving both the front and back completely uncovered. While this may seem pointless, 90% of the times you drop your phone it will land on one of the corners or the edges, so i wouldn't worry about the glass shattering, especially since the bumper has raised edges so the glass of your phone isn't touching the surface that your iphone is placed on. I would definitely get one of these, who knows if its worth 30 bucks but its pretty good.

I got the blue bumper at the same time I got my iPhone. I've had it for 7 months and absolutely no problems. No discoloration , hasn't gotten dirty, easy to put on and doesn't add bulk to the phone. I haven"t tried to remove it but I don't think it's scratched the antenna. Very easy to access all buttons on the phone. I only use the Apple connector and earbuds that came with the phone and they fit easily with the bumper on. I have Walkmeter on my phone and carry it almost daily on 5 & 6 mile walks - I love the secure grip the bumper provides while being comfortable at the same time The raised lip on both sides of the bumper protects the phone when laying it on a flat surface. Highly recommend

As I read the reviews I think people are complaining too much. The person at the Mac store taught me how to put my bumper on and take it off to keep from scratching the phone. Your phone will have scratches on it if you get crumbs or other dirt trapped between the bumper and the phone. This is true no matter what case you use...and I don't think any case will keep your phone 100% safe especially when you drop it. It's the risk you take when you buy this phone or any others like it, you have to be careful and treat this phone like it's your baby.

My bumper shows no signs of dirt on the outside though I do have a purse with a lining a pocket that it fits in perfectly.

As far as accessories, again, no different from other phones like Nokia or blackberry when you upgrade your phone you need to upgrade your accessories.


I love the bumper, it holds my phone in place and keeps it from sliding around on my dash just like the old rubber skin did. The best part of the bumper is that you can still see both sides of the phone which is a beautiful thing! My phone is an investment and has become my portable office so it's well worth the money I spent on it and my $29 bumper!

I absolutely love my bumper, but with the blue, the rims tend to change color on you. Like they're dirty. I'm a clean freak and like everything to be fresh. So I took a magic eraser to it and it lost it's shine. I would buy a new one but it's just to expensive for that.

But overall good product.

Sure the bumper keeps your iPhone looking good but at the same time scratches your metal antenna. Also seems to attract a lot more dirt and is leaves smudges on your screen so you have to take it off on a constant basis just to clean the screen. I suggest you not get it.

This bumper is impossible to keep clean. The rubber edges seem to attract dirt, I highly suggest buying black if you would like to use this style.

For the price, I'm disappointed. I bought the orange one and it looked very cool on my white iphone for about 3 weeks and then the softer outer part got darker and darker. There is no way to clean it once the oils from your hands have seeped in. Don't buy unless you get the black one.

I got a blue bumper for my iPhone 4. It is slightly more "baby blue" than I'd like, but that's not a huge deal. It's showing some wear on the back side where I always have my hand, but I don't expect it to fall apart soon. Out of the box, it feels like Apple quality. It has stiffer rubber, but not so stiff that it will scratch the stainless steel band around the phone. The plastic is molded perfectly and no gaps are present between plastic and rubber. no sharp edges anywhere. Metal buttons feel high quality. Holes are in absolute perfect spots. I take mine off daily to clean it and have not noticed any scratches or "polishing" of the band; I'd say the people that have scratches have them because they don't clean it out often. If I could go back in time, I'd get a black one. I'm often working on cars, and the bumper holds onto grease very well. My fault, not the bumper's. I have dropped my phone several times with the case and my phone has zero damage. I am mostly satisfied with my purchase. I'd give it 5 stars if it was about half the price.

I bought the green bumper to protect my iPhone, and if I had known that my headphones do not work with it, I probably would have gotten a different product. In order to listen to music, or practice for my singing lessons I have to take the bumper off every time; which is frustrating and makes it a waste of money. I cannot use the headphones that come with the phone because have they me migraines. Also, I've only had the bumper for a few weeks and it is already getting dirty. I've only had it in my backpack and sitting on my desk at home.

When I bought my iPhone I bought a belkin clear case right away while my free bumper was being shipped. With the bumper case, the phone looks great and feels perfect in my hand compared to other cases that make the phone feel bulky. The bumper however is incompatible with any 30 pin connector other than the one shipped with your iPhone 4. I can't charge it in the car without taking the case off. It is SUCH a huge hassle to take the case off, put it on, take it off, put it on, any time I need to use a different connector. I keep the iPhone 4 usb plugged into the wall by my bed to charge every night and use the iPod touch cord to connect to the computer. The iPod touch cord doesn't fit with the bumper on!! What an aggravation.

Despite this, the bumper is a quality product that protects the essentials without obstructing the beautiful design of the iPhone 4.
