    Sandisk ultra 64GB problems

The 64GB Sandisk works in my Sony DSC-RX100 camera. It also works downloading to my computer. My computer can down load photos to my ipad using itunes and/or sincios (download for free). However it does not work direct from the camera to the ipad, using the camera connection kit CCK. Neither does it work using the CCK SD memory card connector.Bought a 8GB other brand SD memory card. Problem fixed, both direct SD connection and the camara connection now works.

Great Little Addition for my Ipad 2

I read all the other review and figured I wasn't going to bother getting this considering all the negativity I was reading on how it didn't work with OS above 4.1. So i figured I'll go pick one up and give it a try, if it fails I'll return it.
Well it worked great with a older model Nikon DSLR D-200. I hook everything up from camera to I Pad the turned power on the camera and within 5 minutes all the images appeared on the IPad. 303 images. Great investment. one note Make sure you camera support PTP transfers for USB.

    Flawless transfer

Reading the reviews scared me into thinking this was going to be a disaster, but the transfer of 435 pictures to the iPad from an SD card worked so well I put them on two iPads in less than 5 minutes - no power drain and everything was just right. Have no fear! This is a miracle! And a breeze!

I have a Nikon D600 and a Nikon V1.. I shoot RAW with a wide selection of cards. Lexar Pro, Sandisk, Panasonic with varied sizes and speeds. I have an iPad 2 and iPad mini which I plan to use to save my images on while travelling and then upload to my iMac when I get home.

After reading all the bad reviews I was having seconds thoughts about this product. As a long term Apple junkie I had to give it a try. Well, I used every card I have in each camera with both the card reader and USB connector and it worked just as smooth as silk and all images loaded on to the iPad 2 without any problems.

My next concern was would the RAW images transfer from the iPad to the IMac intact or would they convert to jpeg. The RAW transferred over without issue and I am happily editing.

I liked this product so much that I bought the connector for the IPad mini the next day.

Apple has never let me down on any product and I have them all. My only negative comment about Apple is .... What's going on with your stock price? We miss you Steve.

I've got two Nikon cameras, a DSL and a point and shoot. I simply attach the ipad connection kit to my ipad then remove the memory card from the camera and place it into the connection kit and woola! The pictures upload to my ipad. Yes that ez never had a problem, so I would recommend this item.

I purchased the camera connection kit for my iPad 2 and couldn't be more pleased. I took several test photos with my T3i, plugged the SD card into the adapter and into the iPad. It was immediately recognized, brought up the photos and gave options for importing or deleting. Once imported I could delete the photos from the card and it was ready to go back in the camera. This couldn't have been easier. It does exactly what I expected it to do.
I haven't tried the USB adapter yet but that wasn't crucial for my needs. If that works well it will just be an added plus.

I loooove the camera connection kit! It's so fast, and easy to use. I love putting my photos on my iPad instead of having to load them on my laptop. Once your photos on on your iPad, it makes it easy to post to Facebook or share with friends.

Works perfectly with EOS 7D & 5D MKII

I plugged the USB adapter into my iPad2 (iOS 6.01), connected the USB cable and switched on my 7D. Almost immediately a preview of everything on the card popped up. I picked out what I wanted to transfer and it just worked! Repeated the same with my 5D2 with the same excellent results. Once onboard I could view, edit, email or upload to FB, etc. Wish there was a CF card reader for pro cameras but the wired connection works fine.

What a great device for travel and uploading images in the field or around town. I've read so many bad reviews I almost didn't buy this device but decided to give it a go, and I'm really glad I did. I assume Apple fixed earlier problems as the Camera Connection Kit just works: no special settings, delays or messin' around. I wish it worked with an iPhone as that sure would be handy for quick uploads on the run but I can settle for my iPad.

Love it! Bought it transfer pics to my ipad2 and that's what it does! Handy product when away from my desktop and want to dump pics off the camera or just to transfer them to use with iMovie app or photo apps.

    iPad camera connection kit

Works. Does need a human to push adapter into the required slot. Does need a sd card for you to take the pictures from. Does need a cable to attach your camera using the USB adapter. Has read all of my sd cards and all of my USB devices do work, I now have all of my pictures from my game trail camera loaded with ease. If you are not able to get these adapters to work you must be an idiot! Great product for the family!

A great accessory that I actually use everyday. I have Sony RX100 that I take photos in RAW file and easily transmit to my iPad 3rd Gen in RAW. Haven't experience any of the problems other talk about. Good job Apple

I do not understand some of the earlier posts about this item not working with the newest IOS. I plugged the SD to 30 pin into an IPad 2 with IPhoto and the photo recognition and transfer was seamless. Does exactly what is advertised.

I use this on every trip I take. It's priceless, especially now that iOS has shared photo streams. It's a great way to keep family and friends up to date as you travel. Just pull some pictures off your camera, make a few tweaks, and post them. Bye bye laptop.

    Essential For Travel

I purchased this reluctantly after reading the review for my daughter to take to Europe on an exchange program with school. I was concerned after reading the negative reviews that it may be a waste of time and money but I guess the proof is in the pudding. Three and a half weeks later and 3000+ photos uploaded to her iPad I can assure you all the sim card adapter was an enormous success. My daughter is an avid photographer so the ability to "empty" the sim card was a god send. Furthermore she was able to do some editing on the long flight home. She LOVED it, thought it was brilliant, fantastic etc. We are yet to try the camera adapter so will keep you posted.

I have only used the card reader from the kit, and was amazed how fast (900 photos in about 4 minutes) and easy it was to load onto iPad. Just follow the very simple instructions, you cant go wrong.

This product just as advertised. I have also used the USB adapter to hook up a small USB audio mixer and record straight into garage band.
